Lets hear it!the WCOC was also a great league! i have a nice idea for a new look WCOC. but it’s just an idea.

i think with todays demographic this league would work really well:Lets hear it!
I can tell you that I hate driving an hour north to Fairbanks. Its ridiculous that we have to do that. So West Jeff would stay with the rest of the South? What league would start for the rest of the south and a couple of the North teams?i think with todays demographic this league would work really well:
Fairbanks
Triad
Mechanicsburg
West Liberty Salem
North Union
Ben Logan
Indian Lake
Riverside
i know the Mechanicsburg people on here seem to hate taking trips north, but this would be a really solid league competitively and geographically!
i knew you would chime in about hating the drive to logan countyWCOC was an awful conference - terrible bad worst ever.
DVL was good - old school version of OHC.
Burg never needs to go to Logan county ever again for anything.
Traid and Wls can do whatever they want 0 reason to stick with those guys. Would stay with our fellow central district members WJ, MP, & Fairbanks. Also would rather stick with NE and SE over WLS & Triad so get that crap out of your head
Wasserman from NE did set up the original OHC, for NE benefit at the time and that’s ok.
I guess I can can only sit back for so long.
I’d be cool with a 9 team league - currents minus Greenon, Greeneveiw and WLS.
FWIW - Triad AD floated an idea that moved Triad and NE to the “south” and Greeneveiw and Greenon to the “north” obviously the geographical names would’ve probably changed…..
the remaining 8 OHC schools would end up in some configuration of the old KTC and old CBC (pre 2001). add or subtract a few schools here and there.I can tell you that I hate driving an hour north to Fairbanks. enjoy the ride. Ben Logan is the worst drive you’ll ever make- even worse than Triad.I hear Greeneview might have Ben Logan next year week 1...talk about a long haul.
WLS are acs’ers and constantly look for unethical advantages in as many sports as the can, but they can stay. Just know if they want something different good for them. Buh bye now.i knew you would chime in about hating the drive to logan county
i heard the same about greeneview and greenon to the north. obviously that idea got no traction as greeneview wants nothing to do with having 4 separate hour long bus rides in divisional play, as well as being separated from their 2 longest rivals (Cedarville and SE). i’m sure greenon wasn’t thrilled either.
i am curious- why do you hate being in a league with WLS and Triad so much? those two are very similar to Burg with size and culture/community. makes too much sense to ever be in a league without
Greeneview is the furthest south of all the OHC teams.....makes no senseWCOC was an awful conference - terrible bad worst ever.

Those early games were all very close and could have gone either way second people have adjusted. Kamara is still getting his yards but teams are going in to games with a determination to make someone other than Kamara beat them. So far no one has stepped up for the Irish. Injuries have also hurt. This already was a young team then you lose three starters and you don’t have much in the way of replacements. Example is center, the Irish lose their center early last week. Both games saw bad snaps on punts and teams coming with extra pressure up the middle. There weren’t many CC fans that really believed that high state ratings. But they are capable of beating SE but only if some other people step up and take some of the weight off Kamara.Greenon- 34
Catholic Central- 3
i wasn’t able to attend but here is the report i got from my grandson:
Greenon showed up motivated and ready to go. Greenon outplayed CC in all 3 phases of the game. Central couldn’t run the ball on the Greenon defense so they resorted to the passing game which didn’t work. Centrals defense was not physical enough to handle Greenon running the ball 80% of the time. Centrals corners got burned on a couple of deep routes.
i’m sure central fans will say this game was a one-off for them, but they should not be state ranked. Greenon is simply not a very good team this year and manhandled CC.
does anyone have any insight on how CC went 3-0 against North opponents but has now lost to Cedarville and Greenon in back to back weeks?
your explanation makes sense, but man it’s just weird seeing them beat West Jeff, West Lib, and Triad then turn around and lose to Cedarville and Greenon. i was gaining some confidence in the Irish. do they have a plan at QB after #2 Ray leaves? he’s a nice athlete and would be a great WR but he’s not accurate. Those early games were all very close and could have gone either way second people have adjusted. They tried the backup qb last night. He got hurt but he is a freshman I think. Unless you are Minster most D7 teams just aren’t deep.your explanation makes sense, but man it’s just weird seeing them beat West Jeff, West Lib, and Triad then turn around and lose to Cedarville and Greenon. i was gaining some confidence in the Irish. do they have a plan at QB after #2 Ray leaves? he’s a nice athlete and would be a great WR but he’s not accurate.
Minster only has 46 on their roster. But I get your point. They tried the backup qb last night. He got hurt but he is a freshman I think. Unless you are Minster most D7 teams just aren’t deep.
When I played it was the KTC still. I think it should make a come back. Call me sentimental...the old kenton trace conference was a phenomenal league!
Yes it say! I miss it!the old kenton trace conference was a phenomenal league!

It's a message board ...thats what it's for..... people to give their opinions, if they are taking what is said here to heart then they have bigger problems than 1 guys opinion...SMH....keep on keeping on..I actually enjoy your post...GO RAMS!!today i was informed that some people within the Greenon program have an issue with my posts. guess i am too negative. out of respect, i will no longer be posting about greenon football directly. will just talk about the league and area in general. if anyone ever wants to chat ball then use the direct message feature.
getting too old to go to games. if anyone has a website that livestreams area games, would love to use it so i can follow from home.
go knights and go OHC! best of luck to all the next couple weeks and hope to see as many schools as possible get to week 11.
i appreciate it! i enjoy the friendly banter on here. a lot of passionate fans for how small the communities in the OHC are. that’s what makes small school football so great. i’ve enjoyed your insight on the Ram program over the years and am happy to see even more posters from Jamestown join. It's a message board ...thats what it's for..... people to give their opinions, if they are taking what is said here to heart then they have bigger problems than 1 guys opinion...SMH....keep on keeping on..I actually enjoy your post...GO RAMS!!
At one point I was asked by a coach to be careful land respectful in what I said. His point was that people knew I was close to the coach and it seemed some people may have thought I was speaking for the coach. He made me think about what I said and the way it might be perceived but fortunately no one has asked me to stop posting. Good luck to you and please keep speaking the truth as you see it.today i was informed that some people within the Greenon program have an issue with my posts. guess i am too negative. out of respect, i will no longer be posting about greenon football directly. will just talk about the league and area in general. if anyone ever wants to chat ball then use the direct message feature.
