Please keep doing what you were. You were the first one I started following when I joined. I think you have pretty spot on posts. Good or bad you can tell you have passion for your team and football. Don't give in to the cry babies.

i appreciate all of the support. i truly believe we have the 2nd best small school conference (and forum) in ohio. i may not always be positive, but i can assure you i speak from passion and honesty. good or bad, i’ve never been one to sugarcoat things. but i feel like i (mostly) give credit where it is due.

Does anyone know what happened to CC? Did someone get hurt? Losing to Cedarville was not what I expected.
The South is GV's to lose from here on out, the same with NE in the North.

I was not there so the information is only second hand. I heard CC lost their QB and Center to injury and could not get a snap. I’m sure there are more unknown factors however great win for Greenon.
No doubt, but I knew something was up and I haven't heard anything. Thanks so much.

i believe shoprat2 mentioned the center being out and with the starter having a rough outing, they eventually turned to the freshman
I was going to pose the question of what team or teams in the OHC have won a state title(s) before but I ended up going on the OHSAA website and pulled up the playoff histories of all the teams. I was right in thinking that West Jeff would of probably been the only team that had won a state championship. It seems like a lot of the teams in the OHC are more recent playoff contenders except for Cedarville, Central and West Jeff. Its kind of cool to look back at what some of these teams used to be in the past. It still blows me away by how successful the MAC schools have been through the years in the playoffs. St. Henry was Cedarvilles arch nemesis in the playoffs in the 90's, that's when they only took 4 teams in each region. I hope the OHC has at least one team that breaks through their regions this year, especially region 20! I hope its the Rams!

a couple of area teams had nice runs. Cedarville seemed to be an absolute juggernaut in the 1990s. must have owned the KTC. who all did they get to match up with in the playoffs?
They were unstoppable in the late 80’s and 90’s and early 2000’s. They dominated the KTC over those years. I know they beat Summit country day one year, first round and Lockland one year first round but 3 maybe 4 times they met St. Henry in the second round and almost beat them a couple times, but could never best them. They won the state title every time they lost to them in the second round.
It’s crazy to think that Clinton Massie was in the KTC at one point.

yeah, there would be almost no competitive balance in that league today! shows what a good coach can do for a program.
Greeneview really needs to start playing its old KTC rivals again- East Clinton, Clinton Massie (when they aren’t state contenders), Blanchester, and wouldn’t mind seeing them play Wilmington. Waynesville is a great game.

There was a thread with the score of every playoff game for every school.
I don’t understand why they don’t play East Clinton, they are close to Jamestown. We scrimmage Blanchester every year.

Hey old man, Grandpa, lol...I'm late to this game and wth?!? The Greenon elitest club now has a cancel society? Love your opinions, your thoughts and at times unbiased opinion but with remarkable insight. You say at it as you see it and that is what I appreciate about you. What is the cancel club going to do? Raise your gas prices, taxes or grocery story costs? I say to them, blow me sideways. I remember when I LIVED in that school district and now I remember why I DON'T live in that school district. I would consider it, maybe, a badge of honor to be cancelled with you but I am a never was, so that's kind of hollow, lol. Is there a Yappi safe space for these butt hurt people? Post what you want, when you want, within Bless em's parameters, lol, and if those people don't like it then... GO BLOW.
Do what you do or there is no reason for me to read the OHC threads anymore.

I know the first year the OHC was formed, SE went to the regional final in football and basketball setting the bar for the OHC.

ha, too old. besides, i’m not that tech savvy- i’ve come a long way with being able to type on here! this is my blog. i enjoy the others on here as they can chime in at any time. there’s a lot of other posters with great insight. you, yourself, have added some great knowledge about Greeneview, Cedarville, and the KTC as a whole before 2001.. man i wish they would’ve more accurately kept track of schedules and records back then.
You said it. I remember Casey Donaldson ripping the KTC for SE. He was one of the best running backs I've seen.
I agree! Its hard to find info past of anything before the 2000's.
He beat us his senior year! We couldn't stop him to save our lives! Lol! Southeastern had some burners back in the day! The Bailey brothers were really fast! But I would have to say, the fastest guy I ever played against would be Manny Clark from Greeneview. If you gave him one step, he was gone.

my son (not grandson!) graduated from Cedarville University in the mid 90’s. he said the Indians were so good back then that a good bit of college kids made it a point to walk across the street for games..
My dad worked there for 25 years, my sister graduated from Cedarville College, now University.
I remember watching SE and I think GV having kick off returns from each team and maybe a punt return in the game. It was nuts!. Speed kills. LOL!

Isn't there a Springfield News and Sun sports writer that went to SE? I cannot remember his name but if its the same kid, he was quite the player and I think BB too. There was also a kid from Greenview back in the 90's, Justin Winsor?? on the undefeated, 10-0 team, that was a stand out. I don't think Gview made the playoffs that year but what a RB he was.
