Northwest Conference 2024

It’s all in good fun. I love talking NWC football, some of its serious some of its sarcastic. It’s good to have our rivals experiencing a high level of success too as it just makes the games bigger and more fun. Last year’s week 10 game at Grove was the best high school atmosphere I’ve been to in over a decade
 
Talking football on here allows me time away from everyday life so it isn’t always the mundane. At times I really enjoy reading at times I like to post. Never do I take this serious enough to get all worked up over anything posted on here I do enjoy the banter and to be honest I truly think Bluffton is a great community although at times it is fun to troll some of their diehard fans. Much of high school sports are cyclical so to stay on top may or may not continue. Grove has dominated in football and track for several years now just can’t say how long that will last
However they were State champions in junior high track last spring against ALL schools so they must have some athletes coming
 
It’s just all fun and games on here. Some of it can be serious at times and some is just friendly sarcastic banter at the same time. Just give some nice content on and here and we shall have fun debates on it. Some serious and some not. It’s honestly nice to see Bluffton be successful and see the NWC thrive with the other schools as well. Overall it’s good for the conference
 
Wishbone must be taking the week off or he can’t stand the posts of goodwill towards Bluffton. Too bad ,it is definitely enjoyable trolling some of his nonsensical posts he has made in the past -maybe he is fearful of saying something really gut wrenching again?
Yes Wishbone ,we are on our 3rd QB ,so you should be happy -by the way how would the Pirates be faring on their 3rd QB?

Take it easy on my fellow pirate. Bluffton makes a statement against LCC tonight at Harmon Field!! 42-14 Pirates win. I will just go ahead and make the statement now, Bluffton beats CG week 10 to win the league title 21-7.

im tired of all of this grove love on this page!!! its obvious who the best team in the nwc is!! MY bluffton pirates!! i cannot wait for week 10 when we SHUT UP THE HATERS AND GROVE LOVERS ONCE AND FOR ALL!! im not in the prediction business but i will say that the pirates will win by a comfortable margin!

Easy now Lifer, they did beat a very tough Liberty Benton team which has a kid going to Toledo. If Cg Bluffton played tonight, it would be a running clock. I feel by week 10 CG may get a little better, but not much as I think they have peaked.

they peaked last year when they paid off the refs for not calling a hold on the pups the whole night

True, I like to give respect where it is earned. They had a good year last year losing to yet another MAC team. I feel they have almost peaked for the year. I see them ending 8-2 or at best 9-1 in the league.
 
It all comes down to mental toughness at this stage. Does Bluffton have it this year? Who knows-we just know they didn’t have it last year in football-basketball-track……….. as far as peaking too early not a chance of that happening CG actually has played teams to get to this point . PG is the only team that the Pirates have played that will have a winning record come seasons end I do think Bluffton escapes LCC tonight , just don’t tear up your field too much so it will be ready for the real game in week 10
