Northwest Conference 2024

I agree Pirate Lifer needs to go. I am just stating my opinion. Am I not allowed to have an opinion?
You need to go as well with pirate lifer. You literally thought I was a Wapak guy! lol. Did you not realize until this week that fort Loramie joined the NWC??? I think you can join pirate lifer and get back on your ship and go back from where ever you came from.
This thread was much better before we let the jr. high kids in
I agree, both of them need to focus on school more then spending time on here!

I believe you, but the thought of 1 person running 3 Yappi accounts to argue with each other is hilarious 😂

Wow, I’m not in this thread anymore and it goes to hell? But everyone knows this happens each year. A team gets hot, wins games and they find this group. Now they have to pound their chests and boast that they are the Big Dog of the world. Relax Pirates, to be the top dog, you have to beat the top dogs. Come back in week 11 and let’s chat

Week 7 games:
Allen East @ Spencerville
Bluffton @ Crestview
Ft. Loramie @ Columbus Grove
Delphos Jefferson @ Lima Central Catholic

Allen East @ Spencerville is the biggest tossup game of the week IMO. Of the 2 games that I saw of both teams, Grove handled Spencerville pretty convincingly, and Allen East while looked closer on the scoreboard, but Grove had 2 turnovers in the first half that I'll partially chalk up to bad weather - that game should have been 35-7 at half. Allen East is a pass-heavy team playing against a Spencerville D that I think struggles against the pass, and Spencerville is a run-heavy team against an Allen East D that has struggled against the run. I expect a lot of offense and not a whole lot of stops in this game. According to Drew Pasteur, this is the closest matchup of the week with Allen East favored by 13.

Bluffton @ Crestview - Bluffton wins by 3-4 possessions if not more. Crestview typically struggles against tough running teams with athletic defenses.

Ft. Loramie @ Columbus Grove - Grove by 21-28 - the Dogs could easily feed Barraza and give him as many yards and TD's as they want, but with the ugly weather last week I think they try to mix up the offense more this week to break Hopkins in at QB. If the Grove D can stop the Skins from busting big plays and coming down with jump balls I think they'll control this game pretty comfortably.

Talked to one of my CG guys. Says the starter will be back for the playoffs. Possibly week 10.
As I previously posted on another thread QB 1 broken Fibula week 3. QB 2 blown knee surgery week 5 no way for either to play week 10 possibly QB 1 back sometime in playoffs if he is a fast healer who knows?

My understanding is Penix and Leeth are both back for Crestview. Huge difference for them.
