For the playoffs, I am going to make things more interesting. We will be betting on the points spread for each game.

For example, if tonight's Bills-Dolphins game were:

Bills are favored at (-6.5)
Dolphins are underdogs at (+6.5)

Scenarios that can occur:
If you pick the Bills, you win if:
The Bills win by 7 or more points
If you pick the Dolphins, you win if:
You choose the Dolphins outright
OR the Bills win by 6 or less

I will use DraftKings for reference. If there is not a .5 (half point) spread, then I will add one to avoid a push.

Whatever points you bet will double your return, if you lose the bet, then you only lose the points you bet with.

For example, I currently have 153 points. Let's say I bet 10 and win, then I will add the 10 points bet back to my score AND an additional 10 points, giving me 10 points added to my score, and a score of 163. If I lose, then I only lose the 10 points I bet, making my score 143.

With a 7 pick lead, I realize I’ve beat everyone bad enough that this is the only way to give anyone else a chance. I always sucked at final jeopardy so I’ll claim my regular season title and bow out. 🤣
