I did something similar as a kid, but I'm sure I never made it through the whole set. Actually, we might not have had a complete set, come to think of it.

To be fair, I had medical conditions that made me bed ridden for a full year. We didn't have video games or cable/Satellite TV. Just 3 channels in black and white. I had no choice but to read. I read every book on that bookshelf that year.
