Area baseball teams are in the final full week of the regular season. Come Monday, the OHSAA postseason begins with sectional games.

⦁ Amherst vs. Avon at Crushers Stadium, 4:45 p.m. Wednesday: The Eagles clinched the Southwestern Conference title on Monday with a 4-1 win against Amherst. The two will meet once more for a postseason tuneup. Can the Comets spoil their rival’s SWC title celebration? This matchup has been moved to Mercy Health Stadium in Avon, home of the Lake Erie Crushers.
