They may be on verge of a bye as wellCanton South plays Dover and Benedictine weeks 1 & 2, they don't want another tough game week 3.

I don’t blame themCanton South plays Dover and Benedictine weeks 1 & 2, they don't want another tough game week 3.
I am not a betting man (I saw too many people lose too much money in my ten years working in a casino)I bet we end up with a bye
Holy name told us no. Bellaire would be a good option, I just want the kids to get a game that’s allI am not a betting man (I saw too many people lose too much money in my ten years working in a casino)
But I have to agree it's a good bet we relax during Week Three. Unless of course someone pulls a rabbit out of her hat like Brookville, PA last year.
Holy Name just signed Marion-Franklin. You snooze ....... you lose.
I know nobody wants the job, but sheesh .....
What's left of Week 3
Bellaire
Canton South
Cincinnati Archbishop McNicholas
Cincinnati Wyoming
Cleveland John Adams
Cleveland John F. Kennedy
Cleveland Lincoln West
KIPP Columbus
London
Lorain Clearview
McDonald
Painesville Riverside
Not much left here unless there's an opening in PA.
OhioScheduler on Twitter has this:
9/6 = Ashland Paul Blazer (KY), Canton S., CCPA, McNicholas, Wyoming, Clearview,
John Adams, Detroit SE (MI), Cathedral Prep (PA), Eastmoor Acad., GRCC (MI), Harvest Prep, Lawrence C. (IN), McDonald, Holy Name, Struthers
That stadium does not warrant having any less than 5 games played at it. I'm sure JFK would love to play a couple of their home games there during the stadium's open weeks. If that is accurate I’m surprised Niles allowed themselves to end up with 6 away games. For many years Niles had 6 home games to only 4 on the road, if not at least an even split.
0 chance Niles let’s jfk use their stadium lolThat stadium does not warrant having any less than 5 games played at it. I'm sure JFK would love to play a couple of their home games there during the stadium's open weeks.
Riverside would win this by 3 scores. Both good at their own levels but certainly not in the same leagueRiverside vs Struthers would be a very good game.

I’ll take any game at this point. Good for the younger kidsGood for McDonald, not for Struthers.
You're always good for a laugh.Struthers-Mcdonald who says no
Don't need an open date that early in the season, whether home or away.I’ll take any game at this point. Good for the younger kids
Because we have an incompetent ADDon't need an open date that early in the season, whether home or away.
What I don't understand is why we go through this every bloody year.
That is how it would feel for struthers yesWhack
CalThat is how it would feel for struthers yes
I can't imagine Mcdonald entertaining this. Clearview and Mcdonald are considering playing each other. Clearview is gonna take a step back from last year's performance. They have a pretty good qb returning but lost some key pieces from last year's team.Struthers-Mcdonald who says no
I don't think the Cats have to worry about playoff points this year.Maybe the cats should play a West Virginia tomato can like beaver local does every year. Cheap playoff points
YOu got tht right matie.Don't need an open date that early in the season, whether home or away.

Nothing yet. I asked a few days ago.Have the Wildcats picked up a week 3 yet? I see Canton South is still open. I wonder if this is still in play? I saw an article that their RB/LB Rome Cox left and went to Canton Glenoak.
This actually surprises me. I thought he would maybe take an actual offer at a lower level. I do think he is talented enough to play at Youngstown State eventually though.Anthony Carter is going to sign as PWO at YSU.
I will say Phillips has shown that he will put local guys that were walk-ons on scholarship after a year or two if they earn their keep. From what I've seen of Carter that could be a path that he has the ability to follow. This actually surprises me. I thought he would maybe take an actual offer at a lower level.
