MVL needs to give it up

West Carrollton as a school needs to disband. Will be better for the MVL and the state as a whole.

Of all the silly threads in the world, this is certainly one of them.

The MVL is an excellent conference geographically for almost all of the schools involved. Just last year Piqua made the regional championship game in R8 beating schools like Withrow and Edgewood, with Tipp making the R12 semis including a win over Alter (albeit in a slight down year, but still a program with excellent talent that season).

Even this year, yeah, Xenia was a massive disappointment, but Tipp could definitely still make a run, and I think Piqua can certainly compete with Edgewood if they get out of their own way.

Gotta love overreaction posts. Just because Troy is in a short dry period and behind Tipp and Piqua and Xenia had an inexplicable loss doesn't mean we should blow up the conference and start over.

Everyone wants Piqua Troy and Tipp to win all their games while complaining about the other teams not being able to beat them. Cant have it both ways.

Seems harsh. Lots of students that would need new schools. I guess the burg and Kettering can absorb them.

It's one season... Relax. The MVL, due to the close proximity of the schools, will have peaks and valleys together.
Troy and Piqua were not the juggernauts that everyone was used to. Tipp will be fine going forward. Tipp will give Trotwood a struggle.
I think that the GMVC was a good conference in it's day.
If any teams move it should be Greenville to the WBL, W. Carrollton, Stebbins and Xenia to the SWBL. Troy, Piqua, Sidney, Tipp, Butler, stay in the MVL and add Milton-Union and Brookville. MU and Brookville would have put a running clock on Troy, Sidney, Butler this year.

Awful idea.
