Moeller Super Duals - Live Web Cast

What about Moeller providing every team today with free meals through out the whole day!!!!!!!!! Coaches got free meals too. Is this not a kind gesture??? Maybe we should take volunteer work away from providing food and make sure our webcasting ,that is suppose to be a luxury for Moeller alums and fans, can provide this grumpy old jjaf a service he feels he deserves.

As for being 2nd or 3rd tier, you would know better than I. Sorry.

Moeller fans - Thank you...I am very grateful for the webcast. I enjoyed being able to watch the finals against the Grizzlies and see the results in real time. Web casting your matches for your fans and alumni is a very cool thing to do! I would not expect your site to web cast the other mats. I think maybe some of the comments may have been misunderstood. I know that it is always hard to get results right away, so I am very grateful to be able to have seen some of the Wadsworth matches.

Wow...and there was some great wrestling! Moeller has got to be excited about the underclassmen. Sizemore gave Ball all he could handle and then some. I would expect him to make a deep run in Columbus. The Squire - Ward match was a nail bighter. I wonder if they both go down to 125 or if they wll both stay at 130. Their rematch could be a state final. Moeller definately looked like a team a year away from making a run at a team state title....the only problem is that St. Ed's is loaded with underclassmen too.

Thanks for putting on a great event...Good Luck next week at Ironman.

I was lucky enough to sit around 4 kids from the {real deal} '05-'7 squad. Couple have been exercising with the kids, I can't help passing off their enthusiasm in this team. I mean these dudes qualified 11 to the show one year, and they think Gaier & Co. now have the best team yet. Jamison, Spears, all the rest have this passion and talent to get the best out of these kids.

Great warm up, next week is a BIG deal.

Thanks to the Grizzlies for coming down the road...hope you all had a safe trip back. It's really nice to get that kind of quality competition in Cincy.

Does anyone have results -- individual and/or team -- from this thing? I know Wadsworth won, I'm just wondering how everyone fared. Agate would be great to mull over. Three state champion teams at the event and the Enquirer doesn't cover it. Can't say i'm not surprised, just surprised you can't find results anywhere on it.

Wanted to thanks to the Moeller program for a great day of wrestling. Very gracious to provide the entire tournament with a free dinner. Everything was top notch. It was great seeing a lot of familiar faces on the mats. I was very impressed with the Moeller team. Dakota Sizemore wrestled a great match against Ball (one that I felt he won). Joey Ward wrestled a great match against Squire. Kreig Greco had a huge pin for the team. And Dean Meyer had a great win at a pivotal point in the dual. Again, tha Moeller team was very impressive, especially looking at the cores youth. All in all a great day of wrestling. Congrats to Wadsworth, impressive squad, especially for a public school. One that will make another state title run. Best of luck to all involved.

Coach Root,
What happen to your big bad team? Looks like you need to stay off yappi and focus a little more attention on your wrestlers. Because from what I saw you didn't have anyone all that impressive. Don't try and jump on the Crusaders train now that they are winning.

I always seem to see you writing negative comments about something. So I went back through your past postings to make sure I wasnt mistaken. And I all I can say is you have a very sad life.

We need your help, open mats r tonight at 7. See you there.

I think Moeller is a year away from a top three contending team at state. I think Wadsworth is looking at a third place finish at state this year.

In terms of the dual meet's margin, give Wadsworth plus six to nine for Brandenburg and Moeller plus six if they go 2-2 in overtime bouts instead of 1-3, the margin is relatively similar. Gives us a sense where each team stands in early December.

For Moeller, I would say it's very positive with lots of progress to be made through this year.

For Wadsworth, there's a lot of progress needed to get maximum performance, which is what it will take to maintain contact with Eds and/or beat out Mass Perry for second.

Welcome to High School Mr. Frueauf.

Yeah...the "bandit" decided to act low rent...but, at least he stuck to poking at an adult.

BJ 15, Chalmer will win more than he loses (as a freshman), is wrestling a class heavy, and doesn't deserve your keen grasp of the obvious.

I can agree with this. The Blum vs Wenger match was close as well. Blum almost got a last second takedown at the end for the win. I think Walsh beats the 112 pounder that Mendel took into over time too. BUT....I think Moeller will struggle at the Ironman. This team is so young and doesnt have a true national anchor yet. I think they will end up in the middle of the pack next weekend. Then again I didnt think they would do this well against Wadsworth either. So who knows.....

Bandit? I cant believe you have nothing better to do then to put down other programs, coaches, and kids. EVERYONE makes mistakes and as well wrestlers lose. If they did not how would they get better. How about some positive comments for once. How about trying to be a man and instead of taking pot shots at people on here confront them in person and let them know how you have been a great coach or parent or even wrestler. Ooops I did not think so. As usual you will hide behind your screen name.

Also good job Sizemore,Thornberry and Fruehaf on a great opening tournament

Welcome to High School Mr. Frueauf.

Actually his "welcoming" was 10-1 major win, followed by 16-0 tech win, followed by a 3-2 decision win. Sorry "Jack" [great name] you must have missed those somehow.

I did see that, and I am not trying to bash the kid, I know he is going to be good. Sorry to ruffle feathers, I just thought that a kid that was so highly hyped up, much like Gunner Lay, would stay off of his back in the first minute of the match. Maybe he just got caught..... Although being pinned by the returning State Champ is nothing to be ashamed of. Sorry again!

Congrats to the Moeller Freshman who are on varsity:
Dean Meyer (140) 4-0
Dakota Sizemore (145) 3-1
Jerry Thornberry (189) 3-1
Chalmer Frueauf (215) 3-1

Hey B Jack thanks for the apology! Jr. High to HS is a big step, as HS to College, any division.

Outside Moeller is a Crusader statue. With NO feathers to be ruffled. I really love that moniker. I mean we have Bombers, Panthers, and Lancers. How cool.

Thanks Again!

Coach Root,
What happen to your big bad team? Looks like you need to stay off yappi and focus a little more attention on your wrestlers. Because from what I saw you didn't have anyone all that impressive. Don't try and jump on the Crusaders train now that they are winning.

It's way easier to scout out good, existing talent and have em' "move in" ;)

That it was LCast......That it was....... Wasn't it Father K.Mines who baptised your boy in Columbus this past March?

No it was the forgiving ST Stephen who baptised the masses of this city and gave them what they needed a freshman phenom unlike any other before or after ,well untill next year anyway, and despite all my detractors they know they are glad they had someone make some serious noise for the area not only at state but in the nation due in large part to my own efforts like it or not.Bow down be grateful and patient the best is yet to come i promise ,pay close attention to the jr high side of things this year and you will know whos time is fast approaching and who is the only person that can raise the bar higher :p
what a dumb mfer blasting a freshman that nearly and everyone knows could have and probably should have beaten a senior returning state champ .

Really?? Willie Wineberg ring a bell?? I think this area has seen plenty of good wrestlers in the past, even better as a matter of fact.

Stephen is a great kid, Austin is a great kid, both great wrestlers can't we leave it at that?
