My question is: If Circle was doing the same things as a Minster assistant coach, why didn't Minster do any thing? Maybe, Minster was glad to pass him off to Parkway.
Minster has a good head coach. He probably kept him in check while he worked under him, and was happy to get rid of him.

but none of it is true. remember, some posters want you to think this was all a witch hunt. and people couldn't stand the football program doing well (if going 2-9 is doing well, what does that say?) so they wanted to tear the coach down. the guy was given about 6 extra chances but the school wasn't being fare by suspending him. what a mess.
Clarify what is not true. The public comments I'm assuming? I'd think the write ups would have to be accurate, but maybe I'm wrong in assuming that.

Anna actually Alerted Parkway of why he was removed from the District. Parkway decided to ignore.
I can tell you when he was hired there were some rumors going around about past actions at Minster. I can tell you that a competent small group of people led the coaching search & they extensively checked into the allegations from Minster and were confirmed that they weren't true. Now, was that because Minster never followed through with any discipline or was it Minster not telling the truth so that they didn't have to take him back? There were never any rumors about his time with Anna and the move to Minster seemed to make sense with Stokes being his cousin.

Saying all of that, & being around the community you could see where certain allegations may have been true. Again, as I've said, the guy has a lot of growing up to do and a lot of help to seek. I hope he gets that help. Everyone also needs to remember that he wasn't hired until February because of severe lack of interest. Not that the committee recommended him for hire solely because of that but their backs were against the wall a little bit. Now imagine the lack of interest this go around where you can't even hang on a senior class with a little bit of talent to get someone in the door.

I've said it and I'll say it again, not entertaining leaving the league was a catastrophic decision for the football program. Now we all have to sit back and watch it die a slow death.

Everyone makes mistakes and deserve second chances.

However, one must learn from said mistakes and grow as an adult and it appears he hasn't.

Thank you for stating this. I feel in the northern part of Mercer County that all this information is relatively common knowledge.

So any successful & retired coaches out there (preferably not local) that want a rebuild project to get away from their wife? Sounds like that is what they should go if they move on.

so tell me why would a school have to take a student aide back?

may I ask , in the northern part of Mercer county, what information was common knowledge?
The board meeting that occurred a couple weeks ago, the information that was presented and the allegations from community members was not new information or ground breaking. Whether these things happened at Minster, I don’t know, but they definitely occurred at Parkway. Also the fact that Parkway was hard up for a coach as well.

I can confirm Luthman is resigning. I assume it will officially come during the next school board meeting.

I wish him luck and success in his next endeavor.
Wow, unlike the Parkway job this one will garner a ton of interest. Is there an in house candidate that's always been on people's minds to take over or will they go outside and find somebody?

I'm not sure of your question.
you said, Minster didn't tell the TRUTH... so they wouldn't have to take him back.... at Minster he was a student aide, just like he was at Parkway, sounds like you think Minster didn't tell the truth , so they wouldn't have to take him back....

so do you think Minster didn't tell things about Coach Circle? what didn't they tell parkway? did parkway talk to the admin? or did they talk to the coaches?

I wouldn't say every single one of the allegations made at that board meeting were all true. It was unfortunate that the meeting was allowed to get to a point where any Tom, Dick, & Harry could shout out an allegation. There were definitely some true ones but there were false ones as well.

I didn't say that they didn't tell the truth, I asked the question if that's how it went down because I really don't know. I don't know the specific department that was contacted regarding the allegations at Minster but I can tell you that I was told that his employee record at Minster was clean. If there were any incidents while at Minster, they weren't severe enough, according to Minster officials, to be written up. What's more easier, having a tough conversation informing the young man that he doesn't have a job anymore or shaking his hand out the door and letting someone else deal with the problem?

I personally think we need to go outside the program and outside the area, some new blood cannot hurt.
I dont know, SH has been a quality program so I dont think that is a necessity if someone of value applies.

How about this: Celina's OC, a former Cavalier QB.....maybe he looks for a local HC job now that they have had some success...Just throwing it out there!

I recall back in the day when they were searching for Coach Boeckman's replacement when he was retiring. I actually was in the room while they were going through many of the resumes, still remember a few names.
Wanna say it was around the time of Stagg Night in one of the coaches houses. I chastised him because he still had an Iron City beer I gave him many months before....but I digress.

Yes, thavoice has been a big deal for quite a long time!
