Oh, I don't think it is an intelligence problem. It's a religious problem. Faith, when it gets twisted, can become blind, and otherwise intelligent and sane folks act in stupid and crazy ways.

The best kind of faith is not blind, but has sufficient evidence for it that makes it a rational choice, but not enough evidence that faith is not required. But since human beings are spiritual beings and need something to fill that void with, sometimes they feel more spiritually satisfied if they have more blind than rational faith.

By virtue of being Leftists, they reject a traditional faith to fill their spiritual void and they substitute political ideology and secular humanism to meet that need. And just like cults within traditional faiths, they seek a less rational faith that matches their fervor. Leftists, if nothing else, are highly committed to their religion, so a tendency toward irrational faith is compatible and common.

This plays out practically all over this board every day. A lot of ignoring inconvenient truths, a lot of sophistry of varying degrees of quality, a lot of parallel reality, and a lot of denial.

But I get it. If someone posited that Jesus Christ never existed, or that if he did, he wasn't God in the flesh, and they made their argument - I doubt there is anything they could present that could move me off my faith. But, perhaps the difference is that I do have several rational bases of evidence to back my belief. If I couldn't provide any rational basis, then that would be blind faith. But I recognize the behavior as it relates to faith in our resident Leftists.

Unlike liberals, who actually have to go out and create the illusion of wide spread racism, it's easy for conservatives to demonstrate the actual attempts by liberals to take guns.

I mean, there are plenty of examples of where they have flat out said it. One of the more famous ones was that shallow dimwit, Beto O'Rourke.

So, I don't know why Leftists deny it. We know they want to get rid of the 2nd A and private gun ownership, but they act like they don't know that we know. Or sometimes I think they derive emotional comfort from thinking we are too stupid to know. Or sometimes I think it is a political tactic where they know that if they admit it, it's a big loser, so they don't. When they do say it, we are all supposed to act like they didn't say it, they don't believe it, and we should believe they don't really mean it.

Regardless, that kind of confusion is what you sign up for when you decide that being an America-hating, pinko-socialist, racist Leftie is a wonderful thing to be.

Blacks vote 85 - 90 % for Dems. is that not racism ? More the Dem. party appeases groups like BLM and transgender groups and blame whites for everything the more " white " midwestern states are going to turn red. Ohio use to be a toss up state not any more same with Iowa. I expect Whisky, Minn, New Hampshire ( NE ) to follow suit. If you people ( liberals ) want to say f*** you white people than f*** you liberals.

So, that has nothing to do with anything about the Southern Strategy.

I have no idea why anyone would let themselves get lumped into a group. White or Black. Male or Female. Anything or anything else. I guess it's human nature or something. Blacks should be just as upset that they would get lumped in with other blacks as I would be lumped in with whites. Being white has little to do with who I am. I'm sure it has something to do with it, but very little.

Democrats owned blacks. Democrats own the black vote. That was caused by Democrat policies that pushed single motherhood and welfare to make the black community poor. Pretty impressive by Democrats
