Was Un Beatin at 189 his Sophomore Year and 4th i believe at 160 his Freshman Year.

Fickell is pretty old and is coaching football, so I doubt he's been on the mat in awhile. I'd take David Taylor over him right now for sure.

Fickell was a great wrestler, always enjoyed his matches, but I don’t believe he qualified for state his freshman year.
Thought I saw him lose the go to match in consolation.
I could be wrong; maybe one of the Ohio wrestling historians on Yappi can check this?

Correct. I believe Brakeman had him at #1 at 160 that year and he was upset at districts and did not qualify.
Name 1 high school wrestler who could beat him? I would throw out names like MikeBuddie, Red Holman and Tim Moxley.
