One of the greatest athletes in Solon's history, all- state, all american at Solon, all- american at Michigan, in the college Football Hall of Fame, all-pro for the Miami Dolphins, great sports talk host for over 20 years, and beloved in South Florida. He has fought this illness a long time with great character and class that was never affected. I'm sure my nephew who was his friend will call me tonight. His work for charity's will always be remembered in Miami. Rest in Peace Jim.

It's amazing to me that no one is old enough I guess to remember one of the greatest athletes in Solon history. Or add to this thread. Anyway, Metacomet has posted a thread on Jim on the high school football forum.
