Is this long winter making some people go stir crazy?

Some very strange postings lately. Some from people that usually have trouble getting along with others but there are also some from people that are out of character. Just wondering if this rough winter is taking it's toll on a few of our finer citizenry.

How can you tell when someone around here is acting "weird?" Slide-by say something nice about a liberal?

It hasn't been that long of a winter. We had weeks in mid-late October where the low temperature was 60s-70s and it was still in the 50s through mid-November and into early December, IIRC. We just went from like 45 and decent to like 10 over a few weeks. The cold and snow this winter, though, as been pretty rough.

In Cincinnati, the average high temperature in November this year was 50.5 degrees, compared to a historical average of 55.5. In December, the average was 44 degrees compared to a historical average of 42; in January, the average was 34.7 compared to a historical average of 40.3; in February, the average was 37.1 compared to a historical average of 44.7; and so far in March, the average has been 44.7 compared to a historical average of 50.6. Unless it's different where you live, it's been a long, cold winter, man.

Also, in Cincinnati anyway, the only time the low temperature got above 60 was October 3-5, with the highest being 64 on October 3. From October 7-30, the low never got above 50. So we definitely didn't have weeks in mid-late October where the low temperature was 60s-70s.

Are you saying ep is hard to get along with?

Interesting observation my Lord Yappi- I, the Hoffy, have become more refined in my ways oer this glorious winter but still remain God fearing at my core . I have learned to give everyone an equal opportunity and let people express idealogs and virtues that I may have spat at in the formative times of my Yappi career.I am humbled now . Grateful and willing to heap praise on those who give effort .I am a team player in 2014 .

Thank you and Regards---Hoff

Does this mean it's still warmer here than it is in Orlando?

Looks like another snow storm due for midweek. I love it, going from 65 degrees to 8. I am sick of it. I can deal with snow but I cannot deal with temps below 20 for long periods of time. I survived the winter of 77/78 but I was much much much much much younger then.... this winter will be a close call.

I remembered it being mid-late October and seeing my car read 71 or something at night and wearing shorts. Might have been the 12th.

But as for the cold, it really didn't get cold until late December/early-January. It's just been brutal.

What's your point? It's been one of the coldest winters in history.

I know. These sunny 80 degree days having to cool off in the pool after work, and the weekends on the boat are just getting so old....
