Why do you or you just "hate" those with differing opinions? Is democracy best served for all people with the same opinions as yours? Do you advocate for a one-party state?
All brought in from south of the border...
What are the chances the moderators will be neutral and just ask the questions, take charge of keeping time limits and allowing rebuttals? I worry I will once again see a debate like the Romney one where the moderator said he was wrong when he was not. Can't believe I used the worthless RINO as an example.
I like people that support the democratic process, accept elections and do not storm the capitol when their guy loses.

Not really, just wondering how fair and neutral things will be. How about telling me what excuse is being used for not letting FOX have one of the debates and not have both be run by left leaning liberals? Afraid of the questions Joe might get to answer? I know Joe needs any advantage this world has to offer. Biden picks the people to run show and then set all the rules. I am truly surprised he is allowing Trump to come to the show and be a participate at all.

Those moderators are perfect. IF Trump remembers he is debating the POTUS only and not the liberal, clean up on isle five mouthpieces, he should do well. Somehow, he will forget that and in the end distance himself from the fence squatters.
Slappy has nothing to lose and will ultimately be carried to a positive outcome. Trump, well, he needs to find some sort of a politician gene in him to give the squatters a warm fuzzy. This isn't 2016 and the ardent supports will not push him over the edge.
The debate for Trump could not be simpler...he just does not need to get in his own way.
Trump set the trap and he better listen to his advisors or he is toast.

I heard they’re going to shut off mics after they talk, so Joe doesn’t get confused more than normal.

I find it interesting that our political climate has changed to the point where the PoTUS can refuse to follow the debate protocols that were put into place by a nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates, and used for past 30 years, and instead insist that he will set all of the rules/conditions or he won't participate. The date/time, the audience (or lack thereof), who can (and can't) participate, the host/moderators, the logistics/conditions. The first debate is scheduled so early that the 2 participants won't even have formally accepted their respective party's nominations.
Isn't this behavior teetering precariously on a slippery slope? What's to prevent future Presidents from upping the ante and requiring even more concessions to give him/herself more of an advantage?

If either of these doddering old guys would let the other one do all of the talking, they would win. One is arrogant and ignorant, the other is mentally incapable. Just give your opponent enough rope and he will hang himself. But both are too egotistical and unaware of their own shortcomings to let that happen. I don't want to watch. I wish this was a DeSantis vs. Newsome debate. Then we could have real political discourse and choose the right path with a clear conscience. Most American would clearly see the right path is the way to go.
