Haha, I can see how my comment might be found as offensive to someone with sand in her vag, but I was only confirming that Apothic Red is a decent wine at a decent price, a session wine, if you will. Then I suggested a wine that is at a higher level up in The Prisoner. :shrug:

I have a bottle of Apothic Red that I got for m birthday and haven't gotten around to drinking. Good to hear that it's good.
 
No surprise at the amount of dooshes on here that drink wine consistently. :laugh:

I'm in the 1000+ range I think. Average about 12-24 per week depending on what is going on.
 
Joe is definitely white trash. One of the first ways to spot white trash is thinking that someone is a doosh for liking wine.
 
I'm sure I average just over half a beer a day. Might throw in a drink or two of good whiskey/bourbon and/or wine over the course of a month, usually at fundraisers or events that don't serve beer I like. I only drink for pleasure, not to get buzzed or drunk.
 
The only day of the year when I purposely drink to excess is the first day of March Madness. That Thursday can get pretty ugly. Or Friday, depending on how I structure my work schedule. Other than that, I hate how I feel the next day when I drink too much. P much a wuss now, but oh well.

I'm sure I could hang for a weekend. When I visited Nashville last summer I was able to act like a 21-year-old again, though I felt sick for an entire week after. No thanks though. You and $ are the type of people who would kill me and throw my body in a dumpster behind the MGM Grand.

No, I'd book you a room at The Quad and make you stay there. After a few days in that place, you'll kill yourself.
 
A nice restaurant usually marks up wine 300-500%, just so you know. So, if you are spending around $30 for a bottle at a nice restaurant, you're probably buying a $10 bottle of wine anyway.

Btw, I'm not making fun of you. I drink wine that ranges from $10-15/bottle all the time. There are lots of good drinkable wines in that price range, even some really good ones from Chile.

Terrible post Joe, but at least tell me you're drinking good beer. I'd hate to think you would take a shot at people for drinking wine while downing 2 cases of Bud Light every week

Averaging apprx. 2 beers a day is nonsense? Not sure where that's coming from. I mostly drink Friday-Sunday so apprx 4 beers per day when I drink. I guess when your social life revolves around yappi I shouldn't be surprised.

Actually, it's 4-8 beers/day when you drink. And, yes, averaging 2 beers a night is over consumption.

Actually, a beer or a glass of red wine each day has clear and demonstrable health benefits. Further, those benefits are shown to INCREASE with a 2nd beer or red wine. 2 is the tipping point. Negatives start showing up with the 3rd daily serving that offset positives.

It's true. I read it on the internet.
