Don't ever forget that these people are crazy. Their obsession over Global Warming is beyond rational belief. It truly is a religion to them:
Thank goodness that John Podesta (giggedy-giggedy!) is taking the mantle of Chief Climate Demoron from Kerry while Climate Lurch becomes Biden Campaign Lurch for the next few monthsDon't ever forget that these people are crazy. This reminds me of the “planned unit development” BS.If you want to change local and even regional climate for the worse cut down the trees. Deforestation is a real environmental problem unlike the lie of human caused Global Warming:

A large area of Reinhardswald, an ancient German forest featured in the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, is being partially cut down in favour of 241-metre tall wind turbines.
Hertz CEO stepping down after he bought a massive fleet of EVs... but the company ran into high repair and maintenance costs and low demand from customers. They had to sell their EV fleet off. Lol.
Lefties crack me up for their inability to see a really bad idea when it presents to them.
That is the pitch - exactly. They will get it "right", eventually. All that they need is ALL of the power. You'll see, trust them.
We just need to Democrat harder. That is the pitch - exactly.
"It's not that our ideas don't work. It's that those waskally wepublicans have held back their full implementation. We need to save democracy and the earth by getting rid of the waskallys."
Cutting down trees, which literally pull CO2 out of the air, to build turbines...what could go wrong. If you want to change local and even regional climate for the worse cut down the trees. Deforestation is a real environmental problem unlike the lie of human caused Global Warming:

This is where the cult of Global Warming Alarmism represents a fundamentally anti-environmentalist position. That the fake science of Climate Change hysterics has been embraced by the environmental movement simply illustrates how ideologically biased and ignorant these organizations have become.Cutting down trees, which literally pull CO2 out of the air, to build turbines...what could go wrong.
I used to rent a lot of cars on business trips. The last thing I would want would be an EV.Hertz CEO stepping down after he bought a massive fleet of EVs... but the company ran into high repair and maintenance costs and low demand from customers. They had to sell their EV fleet off. Lol.

Exactly. My wife and I were talking about this. We do vacations and she does business trips.I used to rent a lot of cars on business trips. The last thing I would want would be an EV.
Business travelers are Hertz' and others bread and butter.
Yep, meetings can run late, and you're scrambling just to catch your flight, let alone worrying about charging your vehicle.Exactly. My wife and I were talking about this. We do vacations and she does business trips.
Regardless, when you have to rent a car, you are thinking about your agenda and how you are going to get from one point to another. Factoring in where you can charge a vehicle and the time it will take, as well as the vehicle's limited range is not something you want to have to worry about.
The Hertz CEO didn't have a CFO, EVP, or a janitor to tell him a large EV fleet was a very bad idea?
This is why every organization needs some common sense conservatives to function as a Good-Idea-Fairy-Busters. This was very foreseeable.
We have to destroy the earth in order to save it.If you want to change local and even regional climate for the worse cut down the trees. Deforestation is a real environmental problem unlike the lie of human caused Global Warming:

This film exposes the climate alarm as an invented scare without any basis in science. It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are witnessing an increase in extreme weather events – hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires and all the rest. It emphatically counters the claim that current temperatures and levels of atmospheric CO2 are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, it is very clearly the case, as can be seen in all mainstream studies, that, compared to the last half billion years of earth’s history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. It also shows that there is no evidence that changing levels of CO2 (it has changed many times) has ever ‘driven’ climate change in the past.
Why then, are we told, again and again, that ‘catastrophic man-made climate-change’ is an irrefutable fact? Why are we told that there is no evidence that contradicts it? Why are we told that anyone who questions ‘climate chaos’ is a ‘flat-earther’ and a ‘science-denier’?
The film explores the nature of the consensus behind climate change. It describes the origins of the climate funding bandwagon, and the rise of the trillion-dollar climate industry. It describes the hundreds of thousands of jobs that depend on the climate crisis. It explains the enormous pressure on scientists and others not to question the climate alarm: the withdrawal of funds, rejection by science journals, social ostracism.
As my airplane flew low over the flatlands of western Michigan on a dreary December afternoon, sunbursts splintered the soot-toned clouds and made mirrors out of the flooded fields below. There was plenty of rain in this part of the Rust Belt—sometimes too much. Past the endless acres, I could make out the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, then soon, in the other direction, the Detroit River, Lakes Huron and Erie, and southern Canada. In a world running short on fresh water in its lakes and rivers, more than 20 percent of that water was right here. From a climate standpoint, there couldn’t be a safer place in the country—no hurricanes, no sea-level rise, not much risk of wildfires. That explains why models suggest many more people will soon arrive here.
I know what an urban planner is but what exactly is a specialist in climate adaptation? Is this like MUFON? What college has a degree program for that specialty...I am willing to audit some of those courses.America’s Climate Boomtowns Are Waiting

Rising temperatures could push millions of people north.www.theatlantic.com
This is the first article from left-leaning news that I remember where they mentioned the positives of climate change. The "everything is terrible" storyline was clearly unbelievable. Rising temperatures may cause irreparable long-term damage but in the short term, it should be easy to recognize that some areas will be beneficiaries. For me, the news being honest is necessary to be responsible. The sky is falling mentality just screams bias and irresponsibility.
