Feel this as an MSML guy. No one called us cheaters before the 2010s but when you start ripping off state titles and no other school in your division has any answers on how to win one themselves, you get the accusations of some magical recruiting/witchcraft to win.
People have an issue with not following the same set of rules and with cheating, forging documents, and whatever other illegal stuff occurs. The program was on probation recently. Play in the D1 playoffs if they let you.

Definitely race related. It's okay for suburban schools (and I went to one, so chill) keep having city kids enter their program due to a "move". The minute that it's the other way around, some of y'all find an issue. I do realize it is not just city kids that are getting pulled into suburban schools either. It is also kids going from suburban school to suburban school. Once a power house needs a new piece to keep the train rolling, they go looking. A football parent told me straight to my face this spring that the "high school portal is real"...their son has played for THREE different high schools. Two of the schools are suburban powerhouses, so nobody has raised a fuss lol. Good luck to Coach Ginn...he's a great coach! Sometimes it's bigger than the game...but some of y'all don't realize that and you'll never get it.
