Looks about right. Northwest might give Badin a battle they beat Indian Hill. Not sure about Shawnee either.

Give me...

The Rams, this isn't your father's NW Knights. NW has been explosive on offense but likely face their best defense thus far.

Massie, Fenwicks early season fairytale comes to a crashing end.

McNick, Coach Orlando does a nice job with that crew and this is a REALLY bad CHCA team (which you don't say very often)

Alter, this will be tight but I see the Knights pulling out a tight one late.

Fairmont, BUT wouldn't be surprised to see CJ pull out a tight one. Much improved CJ team that will cause the top dogs of the coed some sleepless nights.

Carroll, don't know alot about Shawnee but the list of winnable games for the Patriots is shrinking.

I'm going to take Miamisburg in a close game over Alter. I heard Alter has several starters including offensive linemen out with illness (non-Covid) related. I really enjoy Week 3 because you really to get see how teams are doing or what direction it appears they are going to go the rest of the way. If Alter loses tomorrow night vs Miamisburg, they'll be 1-3 after Hoban and I think the GCL is going to be pretty solid between Badin, McNicholas, CJ, and Alter that it could get very interesting for Coach Domsitz and his crew (repeat of 2019 type of season????)

Alter gets rolled by Miamisburg tonight. Alter will not win another another game unless they find a new QB. The “D1” players are very selfish and the team totally lacks discipline and leadership top to bottom. I predict Alter finishes 5-5 or 6-4 with no playoffs. Hoban will running clock them next week. I hope Coach Domsitz figured things out, but it looked like most of his staff didn’t know how to make adjustments tonight just like in the Fairmont game.

Fenwick embarrassed. Will be interesting to see what happens with them against Edgewood.
My football math tells me Fenwick>Franklin>Edgewood.
But the way they looked against CM was awful.

Remember 16 teams out of 27 in region make playoffs so Alter still has a chance to make playoffs at 5-5. They stand 1-2. Losses coming ( Badin Hoban, CJ) hope they can beat Northwest, should beat, Carroll, Fenwick , might come down to Mc Nick, and McNick is undefeated. So things are looking bleak for the knights. Ironic, could be first time they don't make playoffs in last 20 years, The the year they expand the playoffs. The only D1 player is Hicks, not sure who these other D1 players are but can't spot them by their play on the field thus far.

The Rockets have big test next Friday v (3-0) Highlands who beat defending KY State champs Bowling Green in week 1. If they play a competitive game they might be in the mix. Rockets are a solid team. The old adage applies with a D4 team ..have to stay healthy.

Who are these selfish “D1” players you continue to speak of? You’ve mentioned this before and I continue to see these “D1” players on the field majority of the game! Correct me if I’m wrong the qb mishandling 4-5 snaps has nothing to do with selfishness on drives does it? Both of Alter losses have seen great drives ruined by their qb, not a coaches call nor selfishness. To continue to spew that out of your mouth makes me feel you have something against the players and aren’t watching the games. Alter changed QB’s and almost scored 21 points in one quarter (0 the first 3), with more completions in the fourth than they’ve had all season. With that being said Alter has lost to two good (both undefeated) DI teams and are technically a DIV team. The lack of depth to me is more of an issue than anything. So understand knight of old the only one I see selfish is you continuing to blame players without acknowledging what’s truly happening on the field. When players are put in positions to win they look damn good to me!

Week 4

Badin over Roger Bacon by 28
Highlands over McNick by 12
Edgewood over Fenwick by 2
Hoban over Alter by 20
Talawanda over Carroll by 10
CJ over Hughes by 21

Freshman QB Gavin Connor pretty much secured his spot as QB1. I don't see a way they start Dan Mangin over him after last Friday. Connor looked really good in the fourth quarter.

Let me borrow a phrase from the well known Edgewood poster himself, Hoser...."uh, the two supposed D1 defensive backs haven't covered anybody yet vs Fairmont or Miamisburg. The DT/OT commit to UC has gone unnoticeable in both games. I have not seen him make any stops or cause fits for the opposing team's offensive line. He also had the penalty that took away a 60+ TD away from Alter vs Fairmont."

I have been advocating for the other QB to start vs Fairmont all of August and here you are making excuses for Alter losing to two D1 teams that are NOT traditionally powerhouses, but average. I find it hard to believe you are going to not admit that Alter's losses came on players' poor performances, some coaching, and conditioning????

And you say put in positions to win? I see an Alter team at 1-2 with a joke game vs Thurgood Marshall and a powerhouse in Hoban coming up so your assumption there is quite wrong indeed. I post the reality while it appears you post in the wonderland. Sometimes, you just have to admit and accept the reality and you can either adjust and get better or continue to go down a path of unresolved problems.

I notice when the two D1 DBs come off the field, they have two other guys come on. Any info on who they are considering the two starters might be out

Highlands over McNick by 12
Edgewood over Fenwick by 2
Hoban over Alter by 20
Talawanda over Carroll by 10

Give me the...

Rams by 2 or 3 TDs
Highlands, but think this one will be closer than some think
Fenwick, this will be tight and settled by a td
Hoban...
Northwest (over Carroll), NW lost their qb vs. Badin so that might improve the Patriots chances
CJ... big
