Friday Finals (Week 10)

Cleveland Collinwood - 22
Cleveland John Adams - 14
Final

Did Collinwood just make the playoffs?
While I'm notvery familiar with the overlapping schedules of D3R10, at first glance it looks like they need at least 4 losses by other teams to get in. That said, a loss would have certainly spelled staying at home, so they've done what they had to do on the field this week.
With JFK losing to John Marshall earlier tonight, they probably need more than just four key losses to get in.

Most likely not as they are #20 in their region. It would take a Deus Ex Machina scenario of 4+ teams losing to make it. Also, they are not the caliber of team that John Hay is this year and would most likely have been blown out by Rhodes or Glenville.

John Marshall disappointed with inconsistency this year. They had the talent to match wits with Hay, Rhodes, and Glenville, but fell apart in games.

I know people don’t take Rhodes seriously, but they have the talent to make things dangerous. If they draw Valley Forge, North Royalton, Toledos Sts. John or Francis, or North Olmsted those are winnable games. Games against Anthony Wayne or Olmsted Falls would be much harder. If Rhodes managed to hold onto hosting a home game, the question is can CMSD work out a deal with Brooklyn to rent out their stadium or will the game be at Collinwood? If at Brooklyn it could be a massive crowd especially if the opponent is Forge or North Royalton.

Glenville should beat their first round opponent and then it becomes a slugfest from there as they aren’t as good as they have been in the recent past, but are still very athletic and big. Glenville should be a 2 round team, possibly make it to the third with some breaks. VASJ, West Branch, and Gilmour are more complete teams that Glenville this year and there isn’t a standout like Frank Clark, Lattimore, or Ginn Jr. on this Glenville. They’re a better overall team, they’re just missing the 2-3 4 and 5 stars they seem to have every year.
