Saw Fairfield scrimmage Tangy last week, and to the extent at which anything can be determined from first scrimmages (which isn't much), Fairfield looked pretty good on defense. Tangy's OLine was a mess, but Fairfield defenders were extremely active and blowing up run plays, despite having a relatively undersized front 7.

Offensively they were a little less impressive, but the QB can be dangerous running. Tangy has a returning all-state NG who dominated the middle LOS, but Fairfield did have some success getting to the edges.

I didn't see the type of kids that have a chance of pulling of a major upset against teams like LW or Princeton, but they could win a couple more games than last year.
 
WOW, FF is Bigger Stronger, Faster than Colerain tonight... 33-13 3rd quarter...

Colerain coaching is also struggling with play calling and stupid penalties but FF looks more like DI Colerain more like DIII size wise. I don’t remember a time when Colerain had so many players that were knocked out of the game.
