Canton South and Buchtel return accomplished QB's. Woodridge has great skill and experince back at QB as well. The Mahoning Valley group of Teams (Poland, Hubbard, Girard, West Branch) are in reload mode. Holy Name and Mooney have tough schedules but talents back.

What did WB lose overall? If you’re referring simply to the QB graduating, they will be just fine. Maybe not to the level of DeShields, but they have capable underclassmen.

They lost some lineman, replacing deshields is a lot harder than people think. They’ll rely on the RB more this year even tho the new Qb is pretty good he’s not deshields respectfully
I didn’t mean to insinuate there will be no drop off from DeShields, but rather that WB is in a better position than most schools looking to replace their QB.

With Tim Cooper's offense, West Branch will be explosive again. The QB taking over for DeShields is 6-5 with a rifle for an arm (he's a big-time pitcher in baseball and will likely have both baseball and football offers) . West Branch returns 4,000 yards of offense and five of its top seven receivers, along with a 1,300-yard running back. I'll be surprised if they don't average around 45 points per game. Many of their new linemen played a lot last season because most of their games were over by halftime and those linemen played a lot in the second half of many of their games. Cooper is one of the brightest young coaches in Ohio high school football — he's a tremendous play caller and his offense is very difficult to defend because they use so many constantly changing sets and formations. His kids are well-schooled in their version of the Air Raid offense. If you make one mistake on defense, that offense can make you pay, as many teams have discovered.
