Just dropped a podcast episode debating whether private schools really dominate high school football in Michigan. Broke down 11 years of state title data—55% public, 44% private. Would love to hear your take!

You would prolly get better insight and feedback on one of the National highschool football message boards. Yappi is a Ohio football website

Not me I don't post on them other websites. I do know who Jersey flyer is though. Think I seen him on NHSF.com or something it was a different site than you mentioned. I had words with him when he said one of his clients complained about getting home cooked at Massillon.

I've not heard "getting home cooked" before. Was he saying one of his clients was being called a homer by a Massillon person? Was he a Massillon person who was called a homer?

No he told me they complained to him that they got bad calls all game and the refs were never going to let a non Ohio team win. Home cooked as in the refs were homers

You are right on the term if someone calls someone a homer yeah that means they are showing favoritism to the home team. Like the refs are being homers or them refs are home cooking, basically same thing just means the refs are calling the game to favor the home team. Still that dude is full of crap or his clients were anyway because no OOS team recently has come down to where calls mattered last year Massillon lost both games and had way more penalties and he said this before the year last year and any games before that with a OOS team wasn't really close and Massillon rolled so penalties weren't a factor. Valdosta game in 2023 but they had no complaints that I heard of and East St Louis was close a few years ago but that wasn't a game that was full of one sided penalties to complain about. Who knows who he was talking about from that I hear the guy is a tool anyways.

Yeah they might of but I don't remember any of them complaining about it all game or after in their paper. My guess the culprit would be St Johns, cry babies all game fighting all game and had to call the game earlier because of them fighting after the plays. All around poor sports and a big private that wasn't use to getting their handed to them.
