DIV Updates - Indian Valley vs Perkins (12/7/24)

Did the schools get along? Some consolidations never seem to put aside past differences.
They were "rivals" so I'm sure there were some growing pains but we are 30 plus years out now but the consolidation went pretty smoothly. I think maybe part of the district prefers red and part prefers blue but that's about as deep as it goes. It's a wonderful community and you would never know they hadn't always been together.

Even if it counted it would not have mattered. Kinsey doesn't slide he gets 15 more yards and IV still would have had 1:40 to score from the 12 yard line. Perkins defense straight up butt whooped and wasn't stopping another IV td
I'm not sure I have ever seen a defense as done as Perkins was on that final drive, those boys just wanted their 2nd place trophy and to get back on the bus. Some may say that the coach told them they couldn't stop #22 by not kicking the field goal, they had no confidence in the defense at all or they would've taken the points and tried to stop them.

Them boys knew somewhere in the 3rd quarter their defensive staff spent the whole week on here and had nothing for them lmao. That last drive was definitely them waving the white flag
