That's painful to look at.

@Vincent and Regina posted this bracket in the Elder forum.

I think it looks great.

Trying "en space" character in lieu of "." -- ' ' equals ' '
Close, but not quite right. Decent, though, for strict table data. May use this in the future. Bad for minus signs, though.

IMO it will be Moe vs Princeton in the Region Four Finals.

This is assuming Jordan Marshall is back in time for the round two game.

Where will Moeller be playing their "home" playoff games?

As a R1 Eds alumnus, the possible St X v. Moeller rematch in week #12 is interesting. I'm hoping for a Moeller v. Elder final. Elder and Moeller gave my Eagles all they could handle this year. Two great historic programs. We Eds fans really don't know R4 beyond the traditional big Catholic programs. I remember Princeton being good years ago, but havent heard anything about them in Cleveland in the last 25 years. Certainly an interesting region.

I think there is a good chance for several upsets. FF, Sycamore and Mason could all pull off the upset and move on to week 12.
X and Moeller in week 12 are the two best teams on that side of the bracket. Elder will beat OH but I ldont see them getting by Princeton.

Elder got about as good of a draw as they have had in a long time. Princeton hasn't played anyone and will get beat by Elder, mark it down. The R4 Final will be Elder vs the winner of StX/Moeller game.

Elder will beat Oak Hills pretty easily. People just play it up as a "rivalry", but it's really not. They'll will win by 3+ TDs. Not sure why people say LW is the perfect draw for Elder. They'd have a better shot against Milford and X. Big time athletes give Elder fits. If OH can manage to pull the monumental upset (it's not happening), the Elder forum would implode.

I think X is vulnerable.

People aren't willing to give Princeton and Milford their due just yet. They will have to prove it in the playoffs.

Given that St. Ed’s we’re barely able to beat Elder at the Pit, I find it hard to see them not advancing to the regional final.

Elder played great in the Eds game, but they haven't resembled that team in any other game since then.

I can't see them beating LW and Princeton in consecutive weeks with the athletes both of those teams have.

I think will all be shocked when it's all GCL Region 4 final. LOL. I don’t see Princeton and Lakota East having the speed and talent to beat the GCL.The only none GCL to make out of Region since 2000 Wayne and Colerain talent and speed.
Uh, Lakota East is not in the playoffs. Both Princeton and Lakota West have plenty of speed and talent to win Region 4. You must not follow football. No one will say Princeton had not had speed or talent. May have been lacking in other areas , but, definitely not speed and talent.

Yes. The 1-9 Lakota East Thunderhawks (Who are not in the bracket) do not have speed and talent to beat the GCL.

I find it odd that some members here think that Elder @ Lakota West is a favorable matchup for them. Elder simply does not have the speed to beat West. They have a great O-Line, which is combated with LW's great D-Line and LB's. I just may not be seeing what others are. Oh well.

Who thinks Lakota West is a favorable matchup for Elder?

Lakota West is certainly favored against Elder (but they are also not as good IMO as Princeton and Moe).

I'm an ECC guy and have been skeptical of Milford being the one seed in Region 4 for most of the season. My opinion has changed a little here in the last few weeks. With the way they play defense when their ones are on the field, Milford is gonna' be a handful for anybody in Region 4. Plus, ain't nobody in town gonna' out coach Grippa.

Multiple people in this very thread have said and agreed with Elder getting the best possible draw they could. Not sure many agree.

Elder played Eds toe-to-toe because they both play similar styles and Eds, as good as they are, don't have the skill guys that typically go 70-80 yards. They grind you to death, just like Elder does. Elder always struggles with teams that are very athletic.

100.

I would be shocked if Elder beat Lakota West. I also think Princeton is the best team in the region. Then, when you factor in the Round 1 “rivalry” game against Oak Hills, that’s about the worst draw imaginable for Elder. Yes, they’ll kill Oak Hills, but the players will be jacked up for that game and may expend too much energy. Lakota West has the best defense in the state, and that game will be a long night for Elder.

I think Princeton and Moeller are the top two teams, but Milford is right on that next level with X and Elder. Lakota West is hard to predict because they are so dominant on one side of the ball and barely competent on the other.
