Question
How many TCC players are recruited from public schools just asking
Moody the kicker related Moody from Michigan ?

Let’s commend the young men and the people that did make it to the game.
at this point, attendance is out the window. The D1 game doesn’t look too promising for the fans of “people in the stands.”

The team who might have the best attendance through Friday night is… <check notes> the team who is on the wrong end of what now may be the most notorious state title game.

The only youth football in the city of Toledo is the Mid City League and the Stars League. There is no CYO football anymore. In general, most of the kids that play in the two leagues already know about Central because their brothers or cousins went there. In Toledo, if you are good at football, you often times find a way to get to Central. Even before the universal school choice that Ohio has, most of Toledo fell into one of the categories for Ed Choice. Now, with the expanded Ed Choice, pretty much anyone can go anywhere.

As for Moody, no he isn't related to the Moody from Michigan.

Smartest thing I've read in this site in years and don't get me started on how early the seasons start. Redicules!
When did the state finals occur before Thanksgiving under the eight teams per region model?

Just wait until the Browns dome is built….have them all there
If it is all privately funded or the public funding does not have teh appropriate strings attached like other states/cities have done then it will likely be cost prohibitive, but it may be in the works to put some provision for its use in there similar to other states.
