Not sure I'd make Fourth's argument here, but I'm also not sure who I'd put above 9 other than the Moeller kid. Isn't Kitna's lad pretty good?
Kitna's kid is a heck of a QB, I just think Mclaughlin can do more. This Lasalle team isn't exactly loaded with offensive weapons like Moeller or Anderson, but #9 does his job and plays within the system. My ranking of QBs in the 513

1. Moeller QB
2. Lasalle QB
3. Anderson QB
4. Lakota East QB

Interesting.

I think he's a good HS QB, but I'm not all the way with you here. He does play within the system, though, which I don't think I like. :ROFLMAO:

As far as weapons go, I can't imagine too many around here better than No. 10 and it just seems like they forgot he exists most of the season, including during much of the Kings comeback last week.

That's weird. La Salle's attendance was low this year but not playoff-game-at-Ross low. Oh well, at least we're on the home side. Oh well, get your tickets early and get there early.
That’s just poppycock Ross Stadium only holds 1800 people and you’re telling me that Harrison LaSalle aren’t going to bring that many to this potential shoot out. He. LL. They probably don’t even know where Ross high school is or even looked at the visitors side.

And you’re telling me that altar against Taylor is a good fit for Fairfield and we weren’t. Bullpucky

Yeah, the LS/Harrison game and the Alter/Taylor game sites should be swapped. Sheer buffoonery by the Ohio Southwest District.

But man, I'm telling you, the attendance has been bad this year.

Harrison fans get to park in the lot and sit. LaSalle folks are required to park on the street somewhere in Hamilton and stand for the game.

THis game is in Ross not Hamilton. There are no Richards down in Ross sorry but there is an Eli’s and a Wendy’s. And an ice cream stand. So I guess you’ll be covered with that.

Pretty close, though. We'd always pass by Ross when my ex-wife and I went back to her homeland for a steak sandwich.

From the gcl website it says he has 7 passing tds and 8 interceptions.

1. Moeller QB: 3091
2. Anderson QB : 3404
3. Mt. Healthy QB: 3577
4. Lakota East QB: 2401
5. Turpin QB : 2301
6. LaSalle QB: 1255
Misinterpreted stat. Lasalle QB also has racked up crazy rush numbers, more of a dual threat. Has like 700+ rush yards and 7 Tds on the ground. Also the passing numbers are not up to date, he has 1900 passing yards and 14 passing touchdowns

Stats don't tell the story. The schedule Lasalle plays is at a completely different level than any of the public schools in D2. I think Anderson is legit and will win the region, but none of these other D2 public schools play any type of schedule that compares to the gauntlet LaSalle plays each season

Totally agree. Just think Lasalle is so battle tested every year that most of these teams don’t have a chance. Also helps that Lasalle only has 3 conference games a year so that leaves 7 spots to schedule tough competition. Most schools around here don’t get that opportunity.

I agree the 3 GCL games is tough. However, Lasalle's other contest were not the gauntlet some may think…
I would say 2 of the OCC were tough opponents of the 7 and the other 5 teams were average to below average teams.
Colerain 0 for their last 22, Northmont 2-9 and one of their wins was vs. 4-6 Withrow that Lasalle also played and their 4 W’s only came over the power programs of the CMAC. 5-5 Roncalli but they did squeak by EC in season. Fairmont 9-3 is good but honestly, they lost to a 6-5 Wayne when it counts…

Now the gauntlet of a schedule did get them ready for Round one….4-6 Monroe that was way over matched in the lopsided loss...
Round 2 W vs a good Kings team 35-27
Round 3 vs Harrison that is the underdg in this match up.... let’s hope they can keep it close.

After my owls shock the world this week and beat Anderson. What is the scouting report on La salle? We haven’t seen much of them lately. What do they do well? Is the o better than the d? Can they stop all our d 1 talent?

That will be a HUGE upset if it happens. But for that to happen Anderson has to have several players miss the bus and turn over the ball a lot and I do not see that happening.
Mt Healthy has a GREAT season going but Anderson is the best in the region. 40-17 and most of the Mt Healthy points come in the second half.

If you compare the points scored by both teams, it should be no contest. Harrison has scored 488 points in 12 games while La Salle against better competition has put up 310.
Do I think Harrison will win? No, but no one should take them lightly. Their QB has passed for 30 TDs and run for 5.
