the district championship was won by the blue devils last night after defeating field 15-4, 15-10. nice job ladies! next game is wednesday at wooster against west holmes. here's the chance to avenge last year's loss! good luck to tallmadge. it'd be nice to have the state championship come back home to ne ohio.

anyone can knock around teams like field and lake. we'll see what happens when west holmes takes the court. besides, i remember olmstead falls like it were yesterday. one of the best days of my life, second to my 18th b-day!

Were you at this match? What happened? Congrats still to Tallmadge though on a great season. I was pulling for you guys to get to get to the Title game.
 
no yahtzee i couldn't make it. i heard we played pretty bad. a lot of my friends said we were the better team, we just couldn't execute. i guess we were up 12-6 in the first match and lost 15-12. yuck. then i guess the last game was just shot. i know the girls were devastated. congrats to west holmes, and good luck to them.

yes, i am the dirk from cleveland live. i have two favorite teams now. olmstead falls from 2001 and now west holmes of 2002!!!

really dirk? because you'd think if a school was your "favorite", you'd spell it right. it's OLMSTED FALLS. ignorant pos!
 
I watched Tallmadge-West Holmes before covering the Northwest-Big Walnut at the regionals.

One whale of a match. Back and forth all the way through. I was shocked it didn't go three games.

No one likes losing, but I wouldn't consider this one a loss. The match could have easily gone the other way. My sincerest congratulations to Tallmadge on a wonderful season.

my deepest apologies for misspelling olmsted falls. the team that knocked off the high and mighty tallmadge team of 2000. it was spelling mistake and you got me on that one. all i can say is touche on that one. however, the moral victory comes in my sarcasm in the post.

what do you expect out of someone like her though? she's from tallmadge so of course she's loaded with excuses. it just so happens to be that her's are lame as well as irrelevent. money!!

when's the last time that volleyball program has made the states? it was definately before my high school years, so all i see is a group of overrated recruits choke year in and year out.

no, you are absolutely clueless if you cannot admit that tallmadge brought in some "special" help. i won't mention any names or years, because i'm classy like that. just admit it, they cheated and still didn't win! :laugh:
