Final Comments:
We lost four seniors from last year’s team; they accounted for over 50% of our offensive production as well as our leaders on the court. Especially missed will be Kenzie King (4-year starter) and Savanah Ridenour (3-year starter). We will need to have multiple players step up on offense and defense as well as fill the leadership void left by all four seniors. In addition, this team will need to hang its hat on defense and consistently play with physicality and toughness to make up for its lack of size inside. As long as we continue to work hard and improve each week, we hope to compete in both leagues. Crestview and Delphos Jefferson appear to be the favorites in the NWC with several other teams capable of winning it as well. The PCL will be very competitive and has many teams capable of winning the league.
