Congratulations to all those named to the first team. Can't argue with the player of the year selections as both led their teams to the championship. Hoffman was a scoring machine throughout the state tournament...especially in the final. St. X had no answer for him even though he played with 2 fouls from the 2nd quarter on. That said, is there a reason that only the first team has been announced. Presumably when the coaches selected the first team they also selected the second team and those named honorable mention. When will those selections be posted?

Voting was done differently this year - before the coaches meeting so that it does not take up time there. 2nd team will be announced shortly. Should have honorable mentions by Saturday.
