I would be more comfortable knowing the RNC has also established a parallel legal ballot harvesting campaign to compliment the poll watching/legal side of the coming elections.

American elections have become less about informed voting on the issues. They are now more about which party/candidate can generate the most returned ballots.

No one should consider Steve Bannon as a credible news source. Yet what if he is correct and Trump is immediately taken into custody and remanded to Rikers? How would that change the dynamics of the 2024 election?

If he’s jailed it’ll be the best news the Republican Party has gotten in a long time. They can replace him with Desantis or Haley and be baggage free.

I’m not sure how they couldn’t go with Haley. She actually won a state in the primaries staying in longer than anyone else. Perhaps paring her with JD Vance?

June 27th and July 11th will be must watch days for the TV news cycle. The debate is make or break for Biden in remaining on the Democrat ticket. I have little doubt Trump's sentencing on July 11 will result in a jail term. The question will be is he immediately remanded into custody or is he allowed to remain free on bail during appeal.

The serve then will shift to the Anti-Trump wing of the Republican Party. Will they try to pry the nomination from Trump? Or will they allow Trump to carry on and actively work against him to defeat him in November? I am sure the Cheney and McConnell wing of the GOP is salivating at the opportunities.

Interesting times we live in. There is a chance within a month we will be discussing the election in terms of two different candidates. There is a chance the courts will dominate election news. There is a chance the GOP will be torn in half. There is a chance Trump as a martyr will surge to victory.

From my point of view, there is no compelling reason to vote for either Biden or Trump except opposition to the other side.

The compelling reason to vote for Trump is his previous term. If you aren't an anti American leftist it was a great time.

There are some on the 'hard' conservative web sites that are calling for a calm and measured response if Trump is jailed. The reason being the fear that conservative protesters might be ensnared as like J6.
 
Trump will not be put in jail. First criminal conviction, white collar offenses, former President. As much as I'd like him off the ticket, he is not going to be put in jail.

R's could get an easy W in November with DeSantis, Haley, or several other candidates against Biden. None of the independents or undeclared are eager to vote for Biden again. With Trump, it will be much more difficult, just because all of his baggage, the negative media, and the anti-Trump voters will show up in droves.

If you’d watching the video, you’d understand it’s all about presidential election history and nothing to do with polling. Trumpers won’t though. They’d rather Jan. 6.

I consider it unlikely but not impossible that he’s jailed. Had he kept his mouth shut and abided by the gag order there would be no chance. Instead he violated the order ten times which kind of forces Merchan’s hand in some ways to go harder on Trump.

Again it’s one video. I can find 10 other polls, videos that say the opposite and probably just as many favoring Biden. The incumbent always has an advantage going in but this is not your average incumbent. I think Hillary had about a 95%chance to win in 2016, that didn’t go well.
