Cavs 2023-24

The new offense which emphasizes movement and pace is much better than the old offense which consisted of getting a defensive stop then coming up the court turning into statues for 18 seconds then hoping Michell bails you out,

Cavs face their really true competition on Friday when they face the 7-1 Warriors. A win there will remove most of the doubts about the team.
Yes, but winning @ New York, beating the Lakers, and beating Milwaukee twice is significant. This one game will not give me doubts should they lose. Even all-time great NBA teams lose 20 times in a season.

I agree mostly … for example if the play a competitive game and say Curry goes unconscious at the end to pull out a GS win … that happens no big deal … but if they look out classed from start to finish (which I doubt) … then I could have some concerns

Cavs in the process of running the Warriors off the court. 48-24 early in the second quarter. I hope that I didn't just jinx them.
Don’t worry we still have brian to come on here a criticize if they start to get close … and that will get them back going … he is our secret weapon!

Surprising that the local idjet has nothing good to say during a 7-0 start and then complains when they get behind in game 8. Then he pretends it is some sort of reverse jinx. Just a heads up clown boy, this team will likely lose 30 games during the regular season, and something like 52-30 is an exceptional season. We don't need to hear you whine and complain each time they lose. Be smarter.

Also surprising that the alleged "fans" who insisted that Mobley was terrible and should be traded, and Garland was a liability and should be traded, have not been heard from this season. You know who you are. Be a man and admit you were wrong.
Anyone who wanted to trade or not re-sign Mobley was wrong. To me, he and Mitchell were…and are…the keepers. Allen and Garland were tradable, but only if the trade bettered the team. Nobody offered a worthwhile deal and now we have what also intrigued many of us…what the Core 4 could do under a new coach. So far, so good.

Cavs, down by 12 at the start of the fourth quarter, come roaring back with a 35 point quarter for win #11. Leading scorer for the Cavs with 23 points was Mobley, yes indeed, Mobley.

Don’t trade any of them! I was wrong about Mobley, but many others are wrong about Allen & Garland … I guess Koby Altman knew more than all of us … and did anyone is Ty Jerome coming? … he reminds me a what Ricky Rubio gave the Cavs a few seasons ago.

They aren’t going to trade any of them now. They are going to see what Atkinson can do with them this year.

Jerome has been awesome.

Nice statement win for the Cavs in that after the Nets had started to pull away on the 2nd night of a back to back after winning 10 in a row it would've been easy for the Cavs to fold the tent and hope to get them next time but they fought back and earned the win.

Garland was incredible down the stretch, and Mobley the entire game. Had no clue that Jerome was the player that he is. Fun team to watch.

Apparently all that was needed to unlock the potential of the roster was a coaching change.
So far, but NBA success is almost solely judged by playoff performance. I’m going to enjoy watching the growth during the regular season, but I know the final judgment of the season won’t occur until summer.
