Andrew King needs to explain why he wrote a series of four articles in March 2019 supposedly vindicating Roy Johnson and COF Academy while falsely impuning the integrity of the AME Church and the late Bishop Young. Those articles were filled with lies and misrepresentations fed to him by Johnson. What's worse is Roy Johnson and Andre Peterson used those articles to legitimize themselves to prospective Bishop Sycamore players, pulling more unwitting kids into their scam. They even touted those articles on this forum as "proof" they were a legitimate school. The frivolous claims against the church have been dismissed in court and come January 25, Johnson and his semi-famous cousin are going to get slapped with a $200K judgment.

Andrew King should be ashamed of himself.

Not surprised at all. There are plenty of false reporting these days with no repercussion's.
 
Was Bishop Sycamore really that bad.......or is their reputation now the result of a targeted attack by the mainstream media??.....
 
In its first year, COF managed to schedule Ohio powerhouses like Huber Heights Wayne, Cleveland St. Ignatius and Lakewood St. Edward, along with major programs outside of Ohio like North Allegheny and IMG Academy, a game that was later canceled. Ferree says only one athletic director took any action based on his information: Willie McGee from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. McGee thanked him and eventually canceled the game.

This part does not look completely accurate to me as St. Edward did not play COF in 2018, the only year COF played. They canceled and took a Bye.

They cancelled and took the bye because they weren’t sure COF would be D1 points, not because they had a problem with what they were doing.

This has been covered in a few news stories. BS approached youth build about being the athletic arm of the school. They said that sounds like it could work, then BS immediately started wracking up bills in YB name and they immediately cancelled the relationship.

I personally know someone who was admitted to both schools to play a sport even though they did not meet the academic requirements to be admitted.
