BIG WIN! Spartans Win Over Kent Roosevelt!

SPringfield beats Kent Roosevelt tonight 56-52, which was a tough fight for both teams, and stressed emotion on both sides. The emotions of the came came to its peak during the third quarter when a small scuffle broke out on the court between a Springfield player and a Kent Roosevelt player. Springfield's bench stayed down, but Kent Roosevelt's got up off their bench. One technical was given to each of the players involved and possession given to SHS. Springfield takes on Canton Central Catholic next Tuesday at home, with another Home game next Friday against Coventry. Then, the week after that, it's Waterloo at home, and Ravenna at Ravenna to finish off the season.

Nice win for Springfield. Their basketball team has really made a turnaround.

Thanks for the link about the Springfield/Field game. Does this station do alot of games?
 
one more win

Springfield clinched at least a share of the league title. They are 11-1 and Kent is 9-3 with two league games a piece remaining. If either they win one, or Kent loses one, it's another solo title. I will be out watching the Coventry game next week. Good luck Spartans.
