Best storyteller songs?

Sad story of a "fallen woman." "Her beauty has been eaten by the hunger and the acid winds of time."

Here's one from long ago which examples how not just words and melodies bring emotions and tell stories, but note choice. I came across clickbate, some English guy who analyzes songs. The singer uses a raised fourth, an unexpected note, when describing something unsettling. Basically do re me .... then raise or lower the next note a half, perfectly in tune but "wrong." The analyzer said it's called the "devil's note."

He uses the unexpected on :"I'm afraid it's moving without me" on the word "me" at 0:55. It's sadder. But the expected note later on the more positive "just close your eyes and she'll be there" on the word "there."

He pointed out other things, how very precise this guy hit note, pre-auto-tune and his range jumps. How the singer wasn't bigger?
