Battle for Control of the U.S. House

Dennis Kucinich is really going low against Max Miller on the radio in this election day broadcasting. The Democrat candidate is probably paying for Dennis’ ads.

Still up in the air.

There has never been an election where the chambers flipped in opposite directions. Still in play and could be days.
Thats because IMO in 2022 in NYand Kalifornia GOP made big gains, trump was not on the ballot. He was this time and voters in NY and Kali. dislike trump and those reps are having a hard time getting reelected. trump had no coat tails when it came to the house.

So far I've only been wrong on one race (MI8), in Dems favor. So if all else held it's down to 220-215 GOP. All the true tossup races still out there, though.

Some of these states are pretty bad at counting. No idea what they are doing in Arizona.

Still slight advantage for GOP, though I do remember California flipping 4 apparent GOP wins a week after the election a few years back

Losing those two seats in PA might keep the Dems out of majority.

His EO’s routinely lost at SCOTUS last time around when it had eight of the current nine members on the bench. The margins usually weren’t particularly close either.

Trump has a very expansive idea of what executive power should be. It doesn’t jive well with the constitution.

At least he stood by the SCOTUS rulings, unlike feeble joe. Whose idea of executive power is expansive again? lol.

The people who run the elections in AZ and NV should be fired. Other states with much larger populations seem to have no issues getting things counted in a timely manner. It is truly stunning that they have an entire year to prepare for every election. And 4 years for a Prez election, yet they still seem unprepared to do the job they have been paid to do.

Can someone tell me why it is take so long to court the votes for the House representatives? Seems everything on the ballots have been counted except for House results. I am beginning to think games are being played to get D's to control the house.

Some if those uncalled District are at less than 70% counted. No idea what they are doing. Arizona had stated they'd release updated totals at 5PM EACH DAY. Seriously?

Just read an article that says it could be days before we know. This is makes no sense to me. There are less votes to count to get a winner for each member I just do not understand the dragging out. I guess they might need a lesson on how to count Democrats quit wasting time unless you know how to change results because from what I can see and and heard R's will end up with the majority.

Fla can count absentee ballots as received, as screwing with the results is a felony offense. AZ let's all absentees be held for postmark until election day, and does not begin counting ANY ballot received early until their polling places close.

There is a reason that Cali made checking voter ID when voting illegal this year. The Cali Republicans will have to fight like hell to keep newly won (R) House seats from being stolen.

It truly is amazing what happens when the Republicans drop a couple hundred thousand poll watching troops on polling venues to keep an eye on things.
Poll watchers and Yoder-voter crusades.

If someone had told me in 2015 that the future of the free world would hinge in part upon some semi-effeminate gay guy with 3 foot of hair getting out the Amish vote by knocking doors in western PA after an assassination attempt on a candidate, I would have laughed at them.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together ? As if....

It really feels like the cultural momentum is finally with the good guys. Is it too much to now hope Republicans don't get picked off and scattered by traditional Democrat donor$, like Sen Lankford was on the Senate's Bogus Border Bill of 2024 ?

Can someone tell me why this should not make me feel like we are having a lets shut down for the night and we will start to count again in the morning and then when the count is restarted surprise look at al the Democrat votes. The D's lost the office of President and control of the Senate only thing left to stop a the R's is control of the House. The longer this takes the more I feel there is a problem of possible cheating and fraud. I check the counting and I find it strange that after days the percentage of votes counted have not change on many of the races.
