LOL:Party:

I agree...lets all come down to earth on this one.

Alliance tennis isn't good, is far from good, and will probably never be good.

Coach Pugh has fun in his own way. He does take it too far sometimes, but that doesn't take anything away from the tennis team. He has somewhat turned the program around, because they did have more success than previous years of ''defeated seasons". But they are nowhere near a juggernaut...or however you spell it:shrug:

WINGS: you shouldn't criticize him just because you're probably not allowed out of your seat during games.

Hey santa, shouldn't you be hibernating until next Christmas....or are you the easter bunny too....lol

Even santa says , pugh is a little extreem...thanks santa...I be sure to use the coal you put in my stockings as cookies with the milk I will leave out....lol

So...let me get this straight....Because coach Pugh is an EXTREME over the top supporter of Alliance Basketball that makes the Tennis team a joke?
Somehow I don't see the connection. I guess he should be like everyone else and be happy with meiochraty?
And I'm sure if you go to coach Pugh yourself Wings, he won't be afraid to tell you what he thinks....and when you do...tell him "THE FREAK" says Hello.

...THE FREAK...

Freak....don't take anything personal..but Alliance tennis is a JOKE....but good luck anyway and continue to be a crazy in the stands.....

Why do you people still sweat this topic? IT'S TENNIS!!! and we all know that coach Peppi le Pugh will have the sports program smelling worse than it already is this year on the nets!!!

all you guys can go pound salt cuz none of you are at the practices and have no idea how good any of them are. im not sayin any of em are good but how would you baseball nuts now your arse from your elbow in tennis? so how would you know if the program has any potential to grow? stick to the threads you know somethin about jack

Pound Salt? Is that some sort of Alliance educated lingo? Typical Alliance there! And what's the difference in your ARSE and TENNIS? Noone really cares about it, a new coach can't perform miracles JACK!

the coach can only do so much. and the players make a bigger difference than the coach. because in a sport like that you dont neccessarily need your coach to help get better. you are able to do it on your own.

wait! if you don't need your coach then why does the school system waste money for a tennis coach? why not buy more plasma screen tv's?

Alliance tennis isn't on the map just because of a new coach, it's not on the map because of a few new players that some believe can turn it around, they are far from being near the map...let alone on it. Earl Pugh isn't a miracle worker, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!

Did the hairs on the back of your neck stand up gorilla????

the best thing to do instead of being defensive ..PROVE me wrong...go out and PRACTICE and turn the program around instead of talking a DECENT tennis game here on YAPPI....

If you can't handle the heat stay off of YAPPI!!!!!!!!

Anyway read santa's last post ....then you may see why I give props to Santa....!!!

Having a great season as of now. Impressed me and proved me wrong to a great deal And I will admit it.

The pickup of Gurung and Swisher was a big help with doubles.

good luck the rest of the way!!!

Congrats on a very good season, Second best in school history. I guess a liitle luck and a lot of hard work does pay off. The kids did a great job and stepped up.

...What's that Winger....Who's laughing now?

...THE FREAK...

Well you know I do have to say that this was a suprise. I did not think that tennis was going to be good. With the help of two new players on the team, Steve Cabassa, Tim Wilhem, and Ben Seifke didn't have to worry about trying to win every match. Gurung and Swisher were just a little help to make those three players shine even more. Cabassa is one of the best players to come out of Alliance i think. Wilhem will be just as good if he keeps up the good work and has fun with the game. Seifke is just one of those players that works hard and shows everyone else how to.

Freak..... I have to say I am also surprised...Pugh did a good job recruiting a couple of player to offset the losses.....plus the schedule was in the Aviators favor but all in all good season...lets see what Pugh does next year before I start singing his praises...Never saw Pugh play Wimbleton or the French Open so time will tell

Chocolatecity why don't you actually write something for a post rather then just say lol. Hey 1 out of 3 against Marlington isn't bad. But its not NBC Championship

Aviatorwithwings you probably don't even know the first thing about tennis. its nothing like your girl sports where they get beat by 50. Its alot harder and takes more talent then some joes off the streets. stick to the untalented girls that you coach. You should come to one match and see how hard it is to coach.

Old Yella....for one thing I don't coach...and I don't really know what got your panties in a uproar....I gave Pugh credit for having a good season..I even recanted my statement by admitting I was surprised by the season....So what you should do is read a post ( and understand what someone has written) before you spout off your thunder....or better yet go back to class!!!!!
