Like I said in the UGA v Bama thread, the difference in the game was the ability of the winning team to hold Offenses to FGs in the RZ instead of TDs. Offenses are going to be able to move the ball in modern football, there’s no more 85 Bears or 00 Ravens.

Just got back from the game. I wanted to tell fans to act like they've been there before after the win...but then I realized most haven't!
The nervous energy and doubts were ij full effect that last drive!

Raider Nation had a great tailgate section....was impressed although one fan had an inch gash on his forehead and was taken away hours before game time.

In the "who knew" category.... Icky Woods was tailgating with us common folk. Was surprised he wasn't upgraded as a guest of the team!

All in all a good time even tho the Bengals did win. Glad to see I didn't miss anything in the late game.

Ickey been in Cincinnati a long time and is just a regular down to earth guy. He probably really enjoys being among the common folks.

WHO DEY!!!!!!

Just getting caught up on whistle gate.

Huh.

Play was in the corner I was at and I thought the discussion was about his foot being out of bounds. Didn't hear it at the game. Post game talked about it a little bit but of course the Bengals homers on WLW dismissed it.

Huh.

What did the talking heads say during the game? Pretty damning as ya clearly hear it on the replay and ya do see defenders letting up.

Oh well..... LV had zero chance to move on ... Cincy has a chance at the SB.

We.
Shall.
See.

Just read the officiating crew is removed from any further playoff games.

That's not much of a consequence. Good chance that crew wouldn't have been scheduled to work any other playoff games anyway. The league traditionally saves the better crews for the later playoff rounds, and IIRC, the Super Bowl crew is one of the crews that works the divisional round.

I disagree. That Ravens team in 13 was a very special defense. They were able to get Joe Flacco a ring that he otherwise had no business getting

That D wasn’t close to the 00 Ravens. You still need a good D, but situational D is more important than trying to shutdown the other offense.
