I have no skin in this game but you seem to have an issue with Fitch. That says everything. As for Ursuline and Mooney, Fitch has done quite well against both the past 5 years. Hubbard has a good 20 year run very consistent, but the previous 50 nah! Canfield has had some really good teams with typical peaks and valleys. Their real run is since 2017 when they have run up against the best teams in their Division they couldn’t break through something Fitch is very familiar with. I do not see Canfield regularly scheduling the cream of the area crop you speak of. Quite the contrary we see the avoidance type of scheduling going on there! Why no Mooney, or Ursuline? We all know why! I have nothing against any of these teams. Fitch is a once a decade type program when classes align. I have nothing but respect for their program. They have been in with some of the best programs regionally for 40 years now. Hoban is on another level, the Ignatius decade with the Ignatius, St Ed, Mentor, Glenville and Solon after that. Let me know when Canfield or Hubbard breaks through anything of that nature! In 2005 they didn’t have to go through an Ignatius, St Edwards or Hoban type and just came up short against TCC in the state title game. But let’s be clear the team’s Fitch has been in with regionally for half a century are some of the all time best in Ohio’s history! Let me know when Canfield or Hubbard breaks through a regions that has anything similar to Hoban, St Vs, Walsh, Solon, and Hudson. I don’t think I need to look any further!

Canfield has run into (parochial powers) Saint V or St. Francis DeSales or TCC 5 times in their 31 playoff games. Am I allowed to include the state champion Brookhaven, Chardon, Chardon, and Kenston? Is running into a state champ worthy for your list? That would mean they ran into parochial powers or state champs (those are halfway decent teams maybe?) 9 times in their 31 playoff appearances, totaling 29% of the time.
Hubbard has run into Mooney or St. V or Mentor Lake Catholic 8 times in 33 playoff games. Or 24% of their playoff games.
It's all relative. Divisions 1-3 have parochial or public powers. Hubbard and Canfield are D2-D4 schools in their history. They have run into "powers" that you speak of. Is Chardon not worthy of your list after their latest run? Or the state champs that both teams have run into?
