Just put everybody in already

Maybe I have misunderstood your response but I do not believe the NFL HOF is watered down or the threshold to become a HOF’er is being lowered in any way, shape or form.

Currently there are 378 members of the NFL HOF. Not all of these 378 were players. Some were owners, coaches, contributors to the game, etc. But for argument sake let’s just go with 378. There has been 23,204 people play in a NFL game.

Simple math of 378 / 23,204 = 1.629% of players who played at least 1 NFL game are inducted into the NFL HOF.
