2025 Massillon Tigers

I knew it was one or the other and I knew we got it handed to us
Yep I forgot about that one I was thinking besides Perrysburg the Whitmer beat down in Mansfield was the second biggest beatdown in my lifetime. That Iggy game would be 2nd. Perrysburg 49 point loss ,Iggy 42 point loss and Whitmer 33 point loss. I wasn't around during the biggest loss of all time which was Steubenville. Them three were the biggest blowouts I can remember. There might be some others worse than Whitmer but I can't recall.

And I believe we got blanked by Iggy at home in 2008, 49-0 I can't remember
That was like the Sun Valley game in reverse. Ignatius was scoring without even trying. They could've hung a hundred on us that night if they wanted to. It spun out of control from the jump and kept getting worse. After a while all you could do was laugh.

0-68 Dayton Steele 1921
0-68 Steubenville 1931
0-59 Barberton 1912
7-56 Perrysburg 2014
0-46 Alliance 1962
Ouch I knew Steubenville was the worst I didn't know that was a tie. Wow I always use to hear story's of how we would kill Barberton, I never knew they did us like that.

The all time record against Barberton is 38-7-1.
Yeah I know they didn't win many. That's why I didn't expect one of their very few wins to be a blowout. I remember my great uncle and others telling me the time we were beating Barberton so bad at halftime that they took freshman players out of the stands and had them play the second half.

90-0 still haunts them… I have literally heard a couple of their fans talking about how “unsportsmanlike” we were for that game… 1 too bad and 2 that was in 1959 😂

I don't get teams not wanting to play us. It's just weird to me. Almost everyone gets in the playoffs now. Idk. Maybe a few teams you might not want to play due to seeing them in the playoffs possibly, other than that I don't get it.
It is pretty weird but I feel like teams don't want to lose to a public school especially when you're private like Walsh is. It sounds stupid but you know some teams let pride get in the way.

Same with Sun Valley… in the end we had undressed freshmen throwing on uniforms and the press still complained
Some of the stats from that Sun Valley game are incredible.
We only had 32 offensive plays and averaged 18.2 PER PLAY !
In the 2nd qtr we scored 56 pts., and we only had 12 plays on offense.
On defense 37 different Tigers had a solo or an assisted tackle.

I have truly never seen a team with less effort on the field than SV. Their tackles were weak and basically involved flailing their arms hoping we would run right into them.
Didn’t seem to be too sad though after the game.

Man that makes me so proud of these kids! I love it! Keep it up boys!

And didn't we just have 4 players from last season make All Ohio academic 1st team?
