Not really a sleeper pick as they were good last year, but I think Thomas Worthington is really strong this year. if I'm not wrong they didn't lose any players that played last year right?
Said this over in the Elder forum, but feels like the lineup could be something like:

Elder and St X have rosters up. Moeller and LaSalle do not. Anyone else have info?
Projected starting lineup opinions?

20 on the Varsity roster seems insane to meMoe has all 3 levels of rosters now posted on their website.

Sheesh. That's really tough for a HS team to manage. If they had some JV swing players that counted on both I could maybe understand, but no, 20 full varsity players.20 on the Varsity roster seems insane to me
Even in practice to a degree! That's a lot of standing around when you're scrimmaging, running wash drills, etc.Sheesh. That's really tough for a HS team to manage. If they had some JV swing players that counted on both I could maybe understand, but no, 20 full varsity players.
I hope they (and parents) understand playing time will be hard to come by.
Have heard Moeller is pay to play so they could just be collecting the $ but yea that’s absurd. Can only dress 15 in the post season20 on the Varsity roster seems insane to me
Is pay to play a new thing? I can’t recall them ever having rosters this big at any levelHave heard Moeller is pay to play so they could just be collecting the $ but yea that’s absurd. Can only dress 15 in the post season
Edit: Yikes 17 on JV as well. 12 on Freshman.
I understand a ‘bigger’ number at the freshman level. They have done this in the past, so as not to miss a young player still developing. I cannot explain a varsity team that big—or JV.Is pay to play a new thing? I can’t recall them ever having rosters this big at any level
IIRC this was implemented with the new coaching staff after Meyer, so this is just the 2nd year seeing the large rosters. Is pay to play a new thing? I can’t recall them ever having rosters this big at any level
Another 16 on jv and 12 freshman too. Seems a little excessive. There must of been some talent they couldn't cut20 on the Varsity roster seems insane to me
Pay to play as in the normal fee thats collected for any sport at the high school level? Or is it pay to play as in people are paying more for their kids to get a spot on the team?Is pay to play a new thing? I can’t recall them ever having rosters this big at any level
I honestly don't know. To me, it sounds like if you pay, you're on a team. If so, not a fan whatsoever and sends a bad messagePay to play as in the normal fee thats collected for any sport at the high school level? Or is it pay to play as in people are paying more for their kids to get a spot on the team?

Is that not normal? I thought every team had $100 or so dues per player. Or are Moeller players paying significantly more?Pay to play as in anyone who makes a team pays a fee is what I’ve been told.
Oh, then this isn't abnormal at all. Unless it's being done in a way where if a kid pays and it's non-refundable, so they essentially can't cut them. In my experience, parents usually pay fees after they know their kid has made a teamPay to play as in anyone who makes a team pays a fee is what I’ve been told.
I’ve heard Moellers fees are at least a few hundred per season to play compared to X where I’ve heard all they have to pay for is the price of their warmup shirt. I could be off a bit in either example but I trust my sources with ties from both schools that I’m in the ballpark.Oh, then this isn't abnormal at all. This is not true.Thomas Worthington falls to Elder 22-25 26-24 15-25 20-25
Huh?? Just checked and your right. When I checked earlier they were the ones I posted. That's weird. I screenshoted them though when I was lookingThis is not true.
Thomas Worthington over Elder 26-24? 29-27? 25-16.
They struggled to terminate balls, partly because their serve receive was mostly poor. Brandt and Tierney are extremely athletic, but they’re still small and they got blocked a good amount. Gotta figure out the libero/passing situation and work to open the net up for their hitters
Walnut with a nice 3-2 win @ Fenwick who OhioVB Talk has ranked as #2 in D2 in the State.Walnut Hills returns a lot of their team from a decent squad last year. I think all of these kids play club. They may have a couple other guys off the bench who could help a bit.
In the first year the ECC is officially sanctioning the sport, they will look to continue to be the best team in the conference. I think they could be the 4 seed in the south region behind the 3CL in D1.
OH - Emmett Corby
OH - Jacob Gillotti
MH - Jackson Helton
MH - Sam Wilkins
Opp - Peter Appino
S - Ben Smith
L - Luke Greiner
DS - Daniel Garcia
Having Fenwick ranked 2nd with all of the pieces they lost seemed a little uninformed to me lolWalnut with a nice 3-2 win @ Fenwick who OhioVB Talk has ranked as #2 in D2 in the State.
Looks like Sam Wilkins is actually going to play OPP (where he lead the team in kills). And Appino/Williams will be M2.
