Green and Wadsworth scrimmaged at 10 AM. Each team's starters scored one touchdown in four possessions. Both defenses looked good.

West Branch and Struthers, two teams looking at big seasons, tied 2-2 in the first-team portion of their scrimmage Friday morning in Struthers.

Both teams behaved..good outing for big red..harding has talent no doubt.A good scrappy go from both.

Tallmadge looked impressive in this scrimmage. Had about 50 total players for JV/Varsity. Another 20+ for the Freshmen team. Firestone looked to have about 35 players. No Freshmen team but they did play their JV and players who didn't see the field for the Freshmen portion.

Wow! This one surprised me. Was expecting big things from THEM this season. Oh well, it is still early I guess!!

I'm sure a lot of teams stayed vanilla and worked on things that they usually don't do. I'm sure there was a lot of rotations of players to try and build depth.

Score wasn’t officially kept. Coventry needs to work on their passing defense. All of the Vikings touchdowns were through the air.

I was at the four-way scrimmage between Columbia, Lakewood, University School, and Warrensville Heights today.
Columbia looked pretty solid on offense and defense. The QB tossed a pair of scores (possibly more) during competition.
Lakewood's QB and TE are pretty solid. The tight end is on pace to be a four-year starter, and made a couple of nice catches on the day.
University School took a bit to gel, but once they got going, they did impressively. The freshman team looks very legit, but only boasts 17 players.
Warrensville Heights has a lot of younger players (majority sophomores, with only about 5-6 seniors). Their defense did decent at times, but the offense struggled somewhat.
