D4 game of the week will be in Shelby.

8-0 Shelby and 8-0 Ontario playing for the presumptive MOAC league title and bragging rights. It will say a lot about which school is securely a top 10 team (if not both). The schools are under 10 miles apart. Last year's edition pretty much came down to a successful hook & ladder play by Shelby to knock off previously 8-0 Ontario. As a fan, I know the Shelby folk can smell some blood in the water for Region 14 with Perkins losing to Edison, and this Ontario game is the best way to prove it's a valid hope.

They are really intertwined as far as football schedules go. Both play Lexington and Madison during non-league play, so they each have eight common opponents (not including playing each other).

Both the QBs had big Week 8 performances. Miller for Ontario had 450+ yards on a mix of passing and throwing. DeVito for Shelby went 22-30 passing with 485ish yards.
