2023 Southwestern Buckeye League

I thought it may have happened on the kickoff, didn't want to put it on the board. 32 is dangerous with the ball (found out a few times last year lol) hopefully he gets healthy before or at least by the playoffs.
Uh stating facts is not something bad. Things happen, kids get injured part of the game, football is a collision sport.Good luck to Massie, although I dont think you need it til Glenville.

Absolutely to be prepared and win a conference title the most basic goal of every season like they have done in the past. Not hope for a birth in the new everybody with a pulse gets a playoff berth against the scrub team Who doesn’t belong there either, and continue to lower the bar until they’re the new Dixie in SWBL.
We will see how that translates for Franklin the remainder of the year. It went well for Madison last year (missed the playoffs) and didn’t win a league game. The league was vastly different when Carlisle last contended for conference championships in football.

Absolutely no difference. Ridiculous and no supporting facts Carlisle still wins in every sport and they could also in Football but the programs is upside down right now. Coach content with mediocrity is the only problem.

These kids forgot how fun it was to play Football. Now they just go out there and run dives the entire game. Sounds exciting.

I don't wanna distract the thread, so I'll keep it short. I'm pleasantly surprised cause I didn't know what to expect. This is the smallest senior class that CM has had in a long time, in fact they didn't even field a freshman team(which is rare for the football program). In my opinion the teams the biggest change from last year is the team speed has picked up, especially in the backfield. The team is still really young with 7 sophomores starting, so the future is bright, but last year really humbled a lot of coaches, players, and fans. Still ended the season on a good note, but 0-4 last year shew, worst record in 20 years had everyone on the edge. Side note... I'm a CM alum so was my dad and my son, we all played football at CM. So I keep up with the program, that throttling we got from Wyoming last year is I believe the only running clock we've had put on us since they started it, and i think alot of people (players and coaches) took that to heart as motivation.
Appreciate your post. I appreciate the humility and proper response from CM's program as well. It's no wonder they have had such a sustained program year after year.

I have posted this previously, but I feel like many of the people hammering on Madison's schedule are missing the fact that their OOC wins will benefit the rest of the league. We would rather have them at 4-0, than scheduling up, and going 0-4. For the stage of their rebuild, I also don't think there's a problem scheduling some winnable games. I agree they'll struggle to find wins now that they are in league play, but I also see the bigger picture too.
