What’s the schedule for next season look like so far and who can fill the blank spots?

Can't wait for that opening ovation by our fans in our crib. Your State Champion Massillon Tigers! 😁

But dang we better get working on the schedule, that's it so far???
We have to wait for all of the “no” responses from the majority of teams we ask if they want to play. 😂😂
Pretty sad when something like 95% of the teams make the playoffs in D1 and basically all of them say no.

The OHSAA website has who has open dates as mosr of you know. However it really isn't much use to speculate who really has open dates as coaches don't enter their dates for a few more months and they start to realize they had better really start looking. Massillon doesn'r have any of their open dates on there yet. . So it's probably a matter of Moore reaching out to teams he knows are open or who he really wants to play and see if those teams can move some things around.. If not he'll probably post the dates on that website at some point. I would think in the next month or two we'll see teams adding to that list as I'm sure most coaches don't want to be in a position of scrambling arounf to try to find anyone they can. It could lead to mismatches as well as long travel.... Right now if you looked, there's not many options for the weeks we have open. But like I said it will start to get larger, my guess is early spring? This was updated 12-1-23

Allow me to try...

Week 1- Louisville (KY) Male
Week 2- @ Canton Glenoak
Week 3- Huber Heights Wayne
Week 4- Indianapolis (IN) Ben Davis
Week 5- Akron Buchtel
Week 6- Philadelphia (PA) St. Joseph Prep
Week 7- @ Cleveland Heights
Week 8- Austintown Fitch
Week 9- @ Warren G. Harding
Week 10- Canton McKinley

NOTE- The Massillon-Male victor would have sole possession of 2nd place with 949 all-time wins.

Tiger fans, what do y'all think?

8 out of 10 ain't bad, but I don't have that much interest in OOS opponents that no one cares about, irrespective of how good they might be (e.g. Ben Davis and St. Joseph Prep; Male gets a pass only because of the tiebreaker). There are also persistent rumors about Glenville sliding in somewhere.

Week 7 😳😳😳 the Tigers in the orange and black are welcome to travel to Cedar and Lee. Would be a great game. That said, I’ve heard the same rumors re: Glenville. Rumors coming from both sides, probably aren’t rumors anymore.

We need them OOS games for the National exposure tbh bro I actually love the out of state games more then the in state games I like seeing what other teams have to offer. I really hope we get Bishop Gorman on the schedule soon or Duncanville Tx on the schedule that would be lit af

I saw you previously mention that you don't care much for OOS games and I considered that while I was making this. Given the instate teams that are available in weeks 4 & 6, your Tigers will likely get left looking outside of Ohio.

It's not listed, but to my knowledge, Harding is now open in week 6 due to dropping Youngstown Chaney. Unless we've already filled the week, maybe that can come into play as wiggle room for Massillon.

I originally had Bishop Gorman listed for week 1, but considering @Oil Filter's previous posts about OOS opponents, I figured that he wouldn't mind the aspect of playing Male.
