2021 Dead Celebs/Athletes

One of the founders of the Wailers and reggae legend Bunny Wailer passed today.

Founded the Wailers with Bob Marley & Peter Tosh and was instrumental in developing a more accessible sound to reggae. In a rock industry tradition Chris Blackwell signed the band to bring the music to the world but decided that Marley would be the focus thus Tosh and Wailer left the group after the 2nd record produced outside of Jamaica.

One of the few times the original three were recorded live on video>

Looks like we just lost Marvelous Marvin Hagler at age 66
Still remember the 3 round war with Tommy Hitman Hearns as if it was yesterday

War is right! Had that one saved on a VHS for years. Mancini-Frias is another.

Sorry to hear about Hagler.

Greatest 3 round fight ever???
Possible. He was one of my favorites. As great as Leonard was I just was not a fan. Could not get behind Duran either. "Marvelous" Marvin Haggler was the guy I rooted for.

I will always remember those darn Right Guard ads.

Hagler, Hearns, Leonrd, Duran. It was sure some theatre. Barkley was another player but I think it was more his starting weight where the others were working their way up?

Those welterweight/middleweight guys kept boxing going in that era after Ali's decline and the demise of the heavyweight division.
