At Springfield, to get to the locker rooms, both teams cross the main path to exits/concessions for the visitors, so it's quite possible for the fan-player interaction. I would hope it's not true, but I've heard it before in Kettering (and I live there). As for that last flag, IMO it wasn't necessary, albeit unsportsmanlike, I didn't see anything illegal, but typically you only see in if a turnover might have an impact on the outcome, not in a 21-0 game.
Naw you don’t do that. They knew they were taking a knee. They were in victory formation. You don’t do that. That’s how players get hurt. Now if Springfield would have lined up in spread after that and started taking shots it would have been an issue.

Crazy stat I never would have guessed. Looks like last night 3 tds are the most SHS has put up against Fairmont in like 3 years. Even with fairmont killing the clock I would have thought 3 would be below avg with the shs offense.
Fairmont Defense is pretty good. They make it hard to do certain stuff. Watching the game live you see certain stuff open but it closes so fast. They keep everything in front of them. If Springfield didn’t have the 3 turnovers I think it could have been 35-0. Springfield did a great job chewing some clock in the first half.

I was at the gate where they walk off the field. And yes some of the players not all but some of the players were very disrespectful.
So is it the gate by the concessions or the gate to the far left? Even A few doesn’t make it right but unfortunately every team has those few that run their mouths and should be dealt with.

One thing that is different today with a lot of these players is social media. A lot of them know each other better than we knew our opponents. Last season almost every kid in the gwoc going to d1 schools had a group chat talking to each other about recruiting and the games. I think the talk is still there on the field but it is not at a personal level.

Did you see the police escort the SHS kids from the fairmont student section for trying to start a fight?

Every year they have a lot of defensive players on the all gwoc team. It is usually pretty stout helps with that offense.

Forgot to ask what was with going for it a few times last night instead of trying for a field goal? Were they worried it would be blocked like last game or were the confident they would score? Or both?

Yea the gate on the far left. And no I didn’t see that. That’s terrible as well.

I would assume that’s the reasoning. I think one of those they probably had a better chance to get but the ref pulled the QB out cause he was bleeding on the Elbow. That was like 4 and 5 when they pulled him out.

Lots of extra points have been blocked this season I would say 5-6 and of course the FG last time they played Fairmont. With the way the defense was going I assume they were just rolling the dice a bit
