First time hearing this band. Liked all of it 5 of the 9 tracks landing on my playlist. This is the 2nd time doing all these albums that Doom-Gaze sinks in as how to describe of some of what is going on here but this one has some Sludge with it as well. Most of it is post rock but it can get heavy at times and ventures into Metal which might startle the shoegazing...... I will definitely back track their discography.

First time hearing this band and I was surprised they have been around for over 30 years... where was I at. This is the slower death metal sound that I prefer and at times it ventures into the Death Doom category. Liked all 6 tracks w/ two of them going to my playlist.

This band has been around for 22 years but only have two albums. I like both albums about the same. The title track is the most progressive of the 8 tracks. There are some death growls on some tracks while others are clean goth style. Man, I wish they had more stuff.... they do have a couple of demo's that I might have to check out.

Debut album. I've now heard 7 of the 8 albums and I would have to say that I liked this one the best. Slightly better than their sophomore album. All tracks head to my playlist as The Howling Void has produced some of my favorite Funeral Doom albums....

Slow Doom with Ozzy like vocals. The one great track skews the rating a bit as the Median score is a better measurement of how I felt about it. The "Ozzy" style vocals really don't go well with this slower style.

2nd album I have heard from them. Like the 2023 album better but this one had a couple tracks I liked better than any on the other. Anyhow, we have a desert landscape of ambient music with hypnotic vocals. At times this does get heavy and there is also a Sax that adds to the atmosphere. 4 tracks head to my playlist and I will be digging deeper into their discography.....

First time hearing this band I think.... I heard that all their albums are different. Liked most of what I heard in what I would call Post Metal that was atmospheric and progressive with very small touches of Sludge. The last track though was definitely Sludge Metal so I am thinking that maybe a previous album was more like that style.... I dunno. This one does sound like something that could grow on me with time and I liked it well enough that I will check out other releases from them.

New singer for this one. I suffered thru this album and typically I would of turned it off but not sure why I kept going. Barely liked just 1 track on this one while most tracks I just could not wait for them to end. Metal Church early days of great albums are long long gone.

3rd album I've heard from them and liked all of them. I listened to the 12 track CD while the LP has just 9 tracks on it which does not include my favorite track...... Anyhow... some tracks get pretty psychedelic which I find liking better....

This one had me puzzled at to what genre it was. It was sort of Doom but it wasn't heavy enough nor consistent with Doom. Wasn't Stoner Rock either but was sort of Shoe Gaze like..... After doing some research I discovered a Genre called Dark Rock (Darkrock). This seems to fit the bill. Anyhow, I did like 5 of the 8 tracks but not sure if I'll dig deeper with this group.

I was depressed so I listened to some depressing music. Usually I feel a bit better after listening to this style but not this time and in fact I had to shut off the lyrics to the 6th track as it really sunk me deep. Oh well, this was the 6th album I have heard from these guys and this one actually finished 6th despite liking everything on it. In fact, I have yet not liked a track by them.

I was looking forward to this one. Pretty solid album that had more moments of Death Metal and even maybe Black Metal than the previous album. Liked all 9 tracks with 3 heading to my playlist. Still like "Vadak" album much better though.
